Pretty crappy if they don’t… it’d be fair enough if we were talking months later, but the launch units literally arrived like 4 weeks ago.

They must really be struggling to hit their numbers if they are already offering 3 fairly big potential selling games.

they are doing it to compete with metas quest, as that's currently on Black Friday deal too, 2 free games with it

I was looking at getting a dedicated router only to use for the pico 4 connected to my PC with cat 7/8 cable.

Would there be any performance difference between a TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 with 1300 Mbps vs an Asus RT-AX55 wifi six routers?

From my understanding that the pico 4 has a streaming limit, so the wifi six router's extra throughput won't matter for a single device on the router.

I also thought dual core vs quad core could be a factor in streaming performance.

Thanks for any advice.

If it's a dedicated router in the same area was where you plan to use the Pico 4, then, no, there won't be any difference between the two. Although the Archer C7 will only get 866Mbps on the 5Ghz channel.

The dual core vs quad core shouldn't be an issue either. For the same reason, if it's a dedicated router for the Pico 4, it's only going to be dealing with one client.

So upgraded to a 13700k and 4090. Been playing Alyx again which looks amazing in the Pico 4. I have a Dream Machine wifi 5 and AP that provides me with a wireless connection. Getting 90fps on ultra and god mode with virtual desktop, however am suffering from random lag spikes. I noticed today, about 15 feet Los from the router, if I looked down at my feet quickly, it would lag, every time. It's almost as if it was losing \ dropping connection a bit as the antenna faced a different way? It's a shame as otherwise it's the best visuals I've seen coming from a g2.
