Pirates Ahoy!

Do the stats for BOINC only get released once a day? I have noticed the stats on boincstats.com are always quite old compared to what my client software shows.

I'm looking forward to seeing a spike in our production but it hasn't happened yet.
Team OcUK updates every 24 hours. The official pages for the projects update as often as you upload data to them. boincstats.com may also only do it every 24 hours.

Have had three cores on my quad crunching Rosetta since I build the machine.

Welcome back aboard the OCUK Rosetta Armada, buckos. Now spread the saw dust, run out the guns and keep that powder dry. YARRRRRRR!

Nice to see some old familiar faces in here. :)

Might be more fun if we 'let' them pass durring a storm, them stomp all over them AGAIN :D

I actually think so too. Leave it be fer now says I. Then rally like a Banshee again with all canvas to the wind. That surely was something to see last time. Quite impressive indeed.

YARRRRRRR
Hey, that's my line. :D

Yaaarrrgghhhh!!!

Be careful with 6.4.5. It has some odd bugs. In particular, it doesn't like CPU 'throttling' (using less than 100% of a CPU core). You'll get crashed units if you try it (as I found out).

If in doubt, go back to an older version.

Bah they aint pirates, they just be lilly livered land lubbers posing ;)

Apparently my Pirate to English translator wasn't working as expected in my last post here and something was lost in the mix. A big thanks goes out to the little birdie who informed me of this as no "actual" offense was intended. :)

As far as us bein' "posing" Pirates I say hogwash and seabiscuits t' that. :p Haven't you seen our decoder rings? They have Cap'n Crunch on 'em an everything. And he's the bestest Pirate there is. Yaaaarrrrggghhh!!

*cough* rehosted as the hotlink url was probably filtered out of most peoples browsers :)

Its one of *those* graphs makes it look impossible, but all we need to do is double our output, then match them :) See easy.

Pah its merely 23770 per day that we need to find :) If the people who currently crunch can push all their CPU cycles our way (leave the FAH to the GPUs) then we will be sweet as a nut

My inflatable dinghy developed a slight puncture a few days ago in the shape of some SETI WUs that I wanted to finish. Only have a handful of Astroupulse WUs left now, with all deadlines going into early next month, so I have patched up the leak and got the oars out to make up for lost ground :)

I'm not promising to deliver 23,770 cobblies a day though :p
