Pizza hut

For telling them that pizzas aren’t made in huts? That’s exactly the kind of thing I would do.

Not that far off!

Went in and asked for a pizza with stuffed crust. They told me I couldn't have stuffed crust as they'd run out. So I pointed out stuffed crust is made of dough and cheese...the two pretty ******* fundamental ingredients in a pizza and that if you can't cobble cheese and dough together to form a stuffed crust then pizza hut isn't the correct name, **** hut is.

:D

+1 Respect. Sticking it to the man

Not had one for a while but much prefer Pizza Hut to the Dominoes pizza's my son keeps buying.
Prices are hideous though, considering the other choices around these days.

Papa Johns >>> Dominos >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pizzahut

This depends completely on the franchise, our local Domino's is always unevenly topped, with barely anything on it, and the dough is almost always undercooked, it also takes them upwards of an hour to deliver, so it's quite often cold. Conversely, the Pizza Hut next door to them are always generous with their toppings, consistently cut, dough is proofed perfectly, and they get it here in 20 mins. The added bonus is its cheaper as well! I do prefer domino's pizzas, but I refuse to pay for the shoddy quality from that franchise

Our local one (Harrow Weald) that's been there since I was in college back in the 90s has closed down earlier this year sadly. Weird thing is that I do see their bikes from time to time so I'm not sure where they've moved to, if they have.

All those cheapo fast food shops now rule this area. Nearest Domino's and PJ is a out of our town but the former comes up with some top notch food still.

Used to manage that local Pizza Hut so I know very well what went on back in the day. The olive oil is still used to make pizzas shiny afaik.

Did it work ?

Did it work ?

No. Because despite their claims the pizzas are made fresh in store it's balls. The bases at the very least arrive prepared. So when I then pointed out they were making false claims I was told to leave and that if I ever came back to the store I'd be classed as a trespasser.

Told them to suck my balls.

****, I didn’t know there was a choice.

Always enjoyed Pizza Hut, but the only branch within reasonable distance of where I now live closed several years ago. Also don't have a Papa Johns within deliverable distance.

So Dominos it was, although I find their pizzas exceptionally greasy and the local store must be understaffed (or staffed by idiots) as 50+% of the orders we've made have been delivered incorrectly. Refuse to order from them now on principle and instead have the occasional takeaway from a Turkish bloke who has just set up a pizza-shed in the nearby village train station. I'd rather give my cash to a local than a ****-poor chain. Tend to pick up a deli pizza mostly now, on our shopping runs.

I only went to Pizza Hut once, nearly 20 years ago. I bought the buffet meal and it was a massive disappointment. The slices were lukewarm, which I think is the worst temperature of pizza slice you can get. There was also a severe lack of flavourful pizza toppings, with it mostly being a Hawaiian and vegetarian affair.

Pizza express over everyone else. Dominoes are overpriced tasteless crap, rather have Pizza Hut in all honesty. Papa Johns?? Geezus don’t get me started on those lot. By far the worst pizza out of the big chains. How the hell they are still around is beyond me and anyone who prefers their pizzas need to get new tastebuds;).

As an aside out here in Abu Dhabi at the moment, the pizza huts are brilliant. Can have a fully loaded meat feast without having to worry if it’s halal or not :p. PS everything here is halal, meat wise.

i had super cheap Pizza Hut delivery last week, stacked 4 discounts on top of each other ;)

Pizza Hut is on my Just Eat list and they do 50% off a £35 spend (50% off the whole order, so ice creams/drinks included),
then used a £3 off a £15 spend voucher from Vouchercloud,
also got £2.50 bonus from Quidco, and another 1% cashback from Quidco,
so this lot worked out to £12.57 delivered :)

i dont eat ice cream very often so thats about a 3 month supply for me lol

Fighting over which fast food chain is better or worse than another fast food chain is like arguing over whether crapping yourself or vomiting over yourself is a better look.

GD - setting low bars almost within touch of the ground.

Forgot Pizza hut existed to be fair. Taco Bell and KFC are their far superior brands frankly, even if crappy in their own right being fast-food.

I don't mind Pizza Hut, I went in to a restaurant in Manchester for all you can eat. Was good, but that was a few years ago now. Not much of a fan of Dominos, Papa Johns is probably a bit better than pizza hut.

However they are all rubbish really and so are most take away pizzas. You need to go somewhere with a wood fired pizza oven and fresh dough bases. My friend is Sicilian and his family own a pizzeria and a restaurant. Pizzas are great from both. The base must be made fresh.

Can't beat a real pizza.
