Slightly unusual one to have a E-6B out there. Been quite busy lately with military stuff being moved back and forth over the Atlantic and various exercises going on. Was a Rivet Joint out earlier doing a patrol along the Russian border as well.

No information on why but pair of Typhoons squawking 7700:

(Could be as simple as having to divert to a different airfield than intended with low fuel)

Diverted on min fuel several times, never squawked 7700.

Jet2 also do Northern Lights flights out of Leeds which go up off Orkney, but as pointed out it’s probably just a post/maintenance test flight if it’s been on the ground that long.
