PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Had quite a few chicken dinners tonight!

Realistically there are no tactics you can apply that will work.... tonight wins:

1) Driving the car around, shooting from window..... Killed 1/4 left, won by default guy died outside the zone

2) Move, cover, move..... Duo's, one to the center, one skirting round, spot, kill move.

3) Crawling for the win.... spread out, cover/diversion fire.... Prevents 3rd person hiding.

Great game!
 
Played two duo last night, both games my teammates were useless. One jumped out miles away from me and got killed, the other sat in the blue zone until he got killed. I did however go on to finish 6th on my own with 5 kills! Managed to kill two teams of people on my own so was pleased
 
Still not got a solo chicken dinner! However have plenty dou/squad wins, always seem to get nailed by the zone! zone was way up north, by 2nd shift circle it ended on South island! I mean come on!!!

Try to play a bit different then? don't keep yourself outside the zone always try to stay well within. More contact and bullets to deal with but safe from the zone.
 
Picked it up last night and had a few games, some I lasted all of 30 seconds after landing as it's a free for all for guns, other games managed to last till last 10, enjoyable for the most part but if you don't get lucky with a vehicle it's worse than original DayZ for being a run simulator.

It can be a running simulator, you need to know where the vehicles are likely to spawn so have a look at this map https://imgur.com/a/toyy9#pXqlPTc a few patches back they removed permanent vehicle spawns so it's now completely random.
 
I don't find it as bad for running as h1z1, if you were miles away from the circle in that game you might as well give up without a car.

Played duo tonight, got close to winning had 3 left but last area was on one of the bridges. Not had 1 sniper drop at all.
 
My latest tactic so far is to stay as close to edge of the zones and head inwards last minute.. It caught be out once on a Duo game, my team mate died and two others were coming from rear and I was taking fire from behind so I was hiding behind a tree, they were to but the gas was coming towards us. I eventually took the two down but couldnt make it to the safe zone then! Gutted! :(
 
Not had a chicken dinner in any mode yet :(. But still loving the game. Best I've done is 4th with my mate in duo

I'll get on discord a lot this week as week off from work!

I like to do that, the downside is that if you caught up in a fire fight you can easily end up doing a mad dash to the center.

A pretty tense finale, but sadly the circle got me in the end! ;)

Edit: The clip is almost a perfect loop, which was totally unintentional, lol.
 
I hate the RNG sometimes... first game, land inside the area, no weapons in any of the 9 buildings, die in the next compound. Second game, UMP and SKS with 8x scope in the first building I enter, but zone is opposite side of the map with no vehicles and I die in the blue zone.

Huff.
