Yeah normally it's <60 seconds. Takes about 2 seconds to find a game, 10 to load then there is normally around 30 seconds left on the lobby timer then you're in. Full game takes 30 minutes so it's hardly worth mentioning. Plenty of things to hate the game for, "ages to find a game" aint one of them.

Righto mate... That's absolutely not my experience.

You don't need to take it so personally, it's not your game, you didn't make it. Christ, get a grip.
 
They do need to speed up the lobby/waiting system though is there really a need to wait 50 secs when there are 100 people in there?

If its a case of load times then make people load before they enter into the server.
 
Well Disco Ps experience matches mine and all of my gaming community. Around 15 people.

Would bet that after 80seconds of pressing that play button I am in a plane, Every time.

Just recording afaik. I've only had nvidia for the past week spent half hour with it and gave up for OBS. Will try again now I know settings can be changed. I couldn't find them so assumed it was static.

Do you dual screen? Found it has massive issues recording for me if I've got both screens enabled, fine with only one
 
Just joined a game and timed it.
1:04 into lobby, with 36 other players.
60 second countdown didn't start until 3:42. I waited 4:46
and at least 36 others waited 3.42 just to join.

That is a long time, never had that happen to me even on as servers. It should be 5 seconds to find a game, then you wait upto 60 secs in the lobby which is normally much less then add the plane trip. Should be looking at 1 min 20 seconds max between hitting play and your feet hitting the dirt ingame.

Weird thing is that there are at least 36 other people in the same boat.

Edit: Also just got a random "out of video memory" crash to desktop. Wasn't expecting that (8gb)

Edit2: and then after a restart it let me go back into the same game, standing in the same position! That was kind of it.

Not sure if the game has memory leaks or anything but it was using 12gb of my ram the other day, pretty insane. Maybe it does need more ram at this point in time?

EDIT
Sorry misread, I also have 8gb of gpu Ram and have not seen that come up yet. It does use a lot of system ram though, at least for me anyway.

You share your experience, I share my experience which is the same experience as everyone else I play with and somehow I'm taking it personally, claim to develop the game and need to "Get a grip"

I don't understand your logic in the slightest.
 
What game type are you both queuing for? Solo, 3rd person? Squad FPS? It'll all make a difference to load times.

I have Disco_P's experience. Hammer mouse button till I get to the character screen. Click to join. Wait... 5-10 seconds and get dropped in the lobby/island. Run for the tables and spend 40ish seconds spraying random weapons fire till I get dumped on the plane.

Where are we all playing from? Disco and myself are... northern england.
Andy appears to be in france? (unless that's just humour :p )
When there's been downtime, most of the down reports in europe are coming from london and northern england so I guess there's more players to fill servers quicker? (talking about http://downdetector.com/status/playbattlegrounds)
