PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

So glad I didn't sell my gamescon cosmetics as advised a few weeks ago, it's pushing almost £300 now over the £230 it was last week.

I also double dipped and bought 20 more gamescon crates last week @ £1.80 each, they're £3.47 this morning.

EDIT: Is there any way to sell stuff away from Steam and safely? I want to cash out some but doing it on Steam marketplace effectively ties it up to just buy more games and stuff.

Think this one is the main one https://opskins.com/ though i've heard others mentioned but can't recall names of the sites, i have not used any myself.

You could always sell the steam credit on the MM right? Offer to buy a game for someone and sell it as a gift a bit cheaper?

I seem to find this game peaks and troughs with how successful you are, some nights everything seems to go smoothly, good gear, good location, no one camping when you're looting etc. Then other nights you're constantly out of the circle, constantly crap gear, constantly in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Some of that will undoubtedly be because i'm gash, but the game does seem to be a lot about luck. Still cracking though.

thats the thing with hindsight. its a lot easier when you know :p

many things have dropped in price the free normal cases have dropped quite a bit .

I wish I could buy some of the stuff off the community, locked in with the '30 days after a purchase' malarkey, this is a new PC so I haven't bought anything off Steam for a couple of years :(

I propose you play it safe and sell the items and retain the balance in your Steam wallet. I'm sure there's something you'll inevitably want! There's no sense risking it all on some third-party website.

This is very much my experience too, I've decided to take the approach of dropping into busy areas and treating it like a death match unless I get down to the last 30 then I start to serious up

I finally had a decent game this morning. Landed on the outskirts of Georgopol with no-one else around and had the pick of a load of guns. Ended up with SKS (with 2x scope, extended mag, silencer and cheek pad) which I didn't get on with, and a UMP 9 (with red dot). Moved south of the hospital and sat on a roof circle waiting. Had a few gun fights and killed one, and then the cirlce centred on Georgpol. Got back there in a car almost dead, healed up and then crept towards the edge of the water. Managed to kill 2 more on the way but then died before I could reload. 3rd with 3 kills, not bad I suppose.

Cheers, will have a look.

Not a bad idea, will check with mods if it's allowed if I go that route.

Yeah regular stuff has dropped but all gamescon crates and cosmetics are sky rocketing.

Trouble is I haven't seen anything on steam i've wanted in 6+ months, let alone £300 of games.

twitch stuff shot up quite a bit.some stuff gone up some not.a lot depends on rarity and if some big streamer wearing it doesn't it.seen a guy fully decked out in a lobby yesterday was trying to kill him at end.playing conservative just to get there but he was already dead :p

You could always buy some Steam Controllers and flog them! :p

Really dont see why people buy skins/cosmetics, what a waste of money, just fools paying stupid money, not just this game all games, especially csgo.
Neither do I, unless they're doing it to flog later on for $$$, but different strokes for different folks; no doubt some people regard buying PC gear as fools paying stupid money for things that will be worth pittance in the future. At least the skins can't break out of warranty!
