PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Kill stealing doesn't exist anymore really. If you put enough shots into someone that they're a 1 tap then you should have one tapped them.

Couple guys I normally play with claim I'm a pro at timing the one tap and getting the kill so maybe I'm biased :D.

My only response is "should have killed them faster then".

TBH with all the people I've played with from here its never been an issue, its more about getting those kills overall to get a win. I certainly never think twice about someone finishing someone ive dropped so we have less to fight later.

That one certainly isn't an issue anymore. As long as the person who finalises the kill is in your team you still get the credit.

I never really had an issue with it previously other than the sarky comments in an attempt to be funny about it.

If they're dead they're dead as far as I care.

Yeah I've probably either not given a comment or not noticed a sarky one being given at me then, if anything i've thanked/been thanked for finishing downed players.

Recently I've been having a hard time enjoying squad mode with my buddies. Either I engage 1 enemy player to immediately have the rest of his team gun me down from multiple different angles, or I get 4-5 shots on someone and one of my team mates gets the kill. I'm all for team work but after a few kill steals it gets pretty frustrating. Anybody else feel the same way? I feel that duo is the best as you can play with a friend, easily coordinate attacks better with just two of you as well as shooting enemies, it's a lot easier to take down 2 guys instead of 4.
Stop playing with randoms or knobs then!

If I'm in squads with any of the usual faces I don't care who gets the kill as long as the kill is got!!

Would you prefer your team mates don't fire at them and risk them turning round and killing you?

Saw my first hacker last night, at least I think it was, either that or a realllly weird glitch. Team mate and I started taking fire from a guy in the flooded town, he was on a rooftop. Then he literally just floated straight up in the air about 20 feet, then floated down. All quite quickly. Did it a few times. I managed to flank behind and get to the lower roof below him. He shot at me from above a couple of times, then somehow was behind me when he killed me. We were too busy laughing about him floating up to actually engage seriously.

Of course not but it's more people getting one shot on someone who I've got 4-5 hits on already and done the majority of damage. What I'm saying is that, I'm all for a chicken dinner but can you honestly tell me it's fun getting a chicken dinner when you've contributed absolutely nothing towards it, like getting 0 kills for the team? Hardly a win in my opinion. Game just turns into a walking simulator and nothing else. I feel they should make it so if you get the majority of hits on an enemy who is then killed shortly after, it should be the person who inflicted the most damage towards that player gets the kill.

I had an awp on a game I played last night, I must have hit 8 - 10 players, all who got practically one shotted straight after, I'm all for team play but it gets terribly tedious not getting a single kill...

Respect for making it look so easy doing solo squads man, good job :)
Tbh there was a lot of luck on that one. Dropped east of Military base at the radio station thing. Then moved North and Bridge camped from one of the buildings.

Then once the circle came in jumped in a buggy and went to the edge of the circle on the far west side of the island

Playing China servers helps too

I'm not sure how it constitutes a walking simulator if you're doing the majority of the damage to the enemy. Maybe you need to try and get more headshots, and I'm not saying that in a "get good" kind of way, but top players won't have the issue you're speaking about. If you want to get more kills then you need to focus on what you can change rather than saying the game is broken/rubbish. Maybe you aren't giving your team mates enough credit if you're winning so many games that your main concern is that you don't have enough kills on the board at the end of it.

Kill stealing? lol the main guy I play with always seems to get all of the kills but although I always joke about it it's never bothered me in the slightest... Often when we pin someone down one of us will keep an eye on them, take potshots, provide distraction/cover fire while the other moves to a better angle or rushes/flanks... It always feels like we got the kill together regardless of who technically gets the credit...

Since this and Overwatch are my main two multiplayer games for the moment I find the differences between them fascinating... PUBG is the better game by far in my opinion for one specific reason - I have fun in almost every game... winning, losing, getting to the top 10, getting rekt in school in the first 30 seconds... and *most* of the time I can look at the game I just played and learn something about why or what I could have done better... I just passed the 100 hour mark on PUBG and am not feeling bored at all yet!

Grinding the FPP EU Leaderboard for this pre-season. Finding just one or two rubbish games knocks you down a fair bit. Tough going :)
