Meh another #3. When you get to <10 people I find it really hard to get the win. Do people tend to go super campy in those last few moments or try to go on the offensive?

3RD AGAIN %^&*, just cant get past that finishing line, this one was pure luck on the circle, if it had moved on me instead of the other 2 I would have had it as well.
Spent the first 15 mins with a pistol and lvl 3 helmet and backpack had to do a mad drive across the map to get into the zone took one guy out who had no armour but fully loaded weapons, then rock and roll 5 kills and 3 while in the last 10 then the circle of death lands and I have to go across a field with no cover, crawled half of it on my belly and second I had to stand up because of the blue line of death I get lit up by both of the other players. Wife comes running into the office to find out what is wrong after I lose it.
Haven't had a game do this to me in a long time.
Maybe I should start playing with some other people, but all my friends are in the £27.99 is too much camp. since when is £10 the expected cost of a game? what are we playing on spectrums and C64s now? you just spent £700 on a GPU and you cant pay £30 for a game?

Hard to say, its very situational, I'm probably a 50/50 split on how often I camp at the end and how often I rush
Got to admit, its even more awesome with friends, takes a lot of coordination and teamwork and communication. Superb.

So when you team up with a mate, if one of you dies in the first 10 minutes, does he wait like 40 minutes until round finishes or go to another server ? or can they spectate you, and if when it comes to a console, i cant see many console players waiting around for 40 minutes until there party friend dies, maybe they will make some sort of other game mode ?
They can spectate or drop out to the lobby and go into another match solo
Ah thats good then, i actually quite like watching this sort of game mode anyway, just that some of my mates need to be shooting stuff within a few minutes.

I'm no fan of 3rd person in this sort of game mode/environment so when 1st person / Hardcore mode comes out I'll likely purchase.
I do feel like they're charging the price the finished game will be for early access though. However people feel it's worth it and every man and his dog is enjoying it so far so maybe it is justified.

Yeah I feel like FP only will make this a non stop play for me. I find myself abusing the 3rd person cam as much as everyone else and it feels dirty.
I'm still loving the game as it is and really hope they go the right direction with it. H1Z1 KOTK is nothing compared to this and neither is hat collector 2014/15/16/17 aka DayZ.
So glad they didn't use the Arma engine as its clunky as **** and will never change.

I am happy with the games I currently have so am not in a rush to hop on board, especially during paid alpha testing, sorry, I meant "Early Access"
This looks like it has great potential BUT as game fans know, potential is not always realised for one reason or another and games which are "almost there" do not always make the cut.
Too early to tell right now BUT it all depends how long the "early access" player base hang around. Is there enough "game" to keep everyone happy for the long haul?
When first person/hardcore is added, can someone please @ me

I completely get where you're coming from and agree largely in principle. I would however state the following:
1. Its already had an alpha and beta, early access is it on the road to completion. If I was fair I'd assume it to be an open beta at best, however the base game is there.
2. It needs first person only badly. If they give players the option then 3rd person will win because its a legal cheat mode, I've abused it just as much as anyone else.
3. Yes, its early access. If you don't like that then really just avoid it, don't get tempted and don't feel like you need to either. Save your £27 for release and enjoy it, because you will.
4. After that DayZ **** I've always been adverse to EA, I think out of 10+ games I've funded in EA 2 have been finished (KSP and Prison architect) and the 3rd (squad) is well on the way to a finished game (despite what DG says). I'm going to put my mouth where my heart is and say this will be no.5. I'm perfectly happy to eat those words as I think the faith is there with the devs.

Thinking I'm going to have leave this for a few patches, between lagging through doors half a dozen times before I get through one and spending 40% of the game pressing the F key in different variations hoping to pick something up, it's making it a tad annoying.
Patch made my client crash for the first time ever. Had landed on a roof and picked up a shottie ready to go bird hunting too.
I also managed to get shadowplay working. I have suspected for a while that lag is killing me, and in some cases hacking. Shadowplay has confirmed I just cant aim for ****. Must try and get down a range, i suppose ARMA is pretty close in physics? Might go do some fps practice on that.

Picked this up last weekend. Loving it so far.
Have been getting some rubber banding lag all over the place, some of the time - mostly seems to happen when a red zone is active within earshot... not sure if that's a cause.
