PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Yup, I've noticed the cheaters have started to filter into Solo-FPP too. Was just driving down a hill in a vehicle at top speed and some dude one shots my head with a Kar98 from another hill 200 meters away. Like a one in a thousand shot.

Funny you should say this....

About 8 weeks or so ago I only saw one cheater in hundreds of hours pf gameplay

Cut to the current situation in FPP, I had 8 games on Saturday, 4 of which I could 100% say I was killed by a hacker. Sunday, again same, first game Level 3 armour, Level 3 Helmet, Full health and killed in a fraction of a second by someone I can only assume was miles away with the ump!!!, next game same, game after game. Gave up in the end and played some squad Third person and thankfully never came across one.

Assume as so long as the cheaters can get enough in game cash to rebuy the game it's never gong to hurt them, just rinse and repeat

Had some good games early this morning, no chicken dinners, but I getting some killing done.

I had a awesome kill on this guy from a second floor window on some guy in the road who was firing back at me, I retreated back into the room and went forward again and without really aiming, just sprayed in his direction and got a instant kill. I was surprised. :D

That said, not really making much credits, 4 kills and 9th place and only 129 credits, kinda crap.

Well, removed re-shade and put all settings down to very low and it still does that second freeze every single time I fight someone up-close. Game is trash.

it's likely your PC is trash.

sticking settings on low takes all the strain off your GPU and onto your CPU. which is why nobody should be playing on low if they have a decent GPU.

Just watched a levelcap video.... he stated:

"based on the number of accounts banned against people who own the game means 3/100 players in every match were cheating. And sadly that's the accounts who have been caught".

wow.

I'm convinced there are some streamers are cheating in this. It's just crazy how they see people when they are just a pixel, or instantly know where shots came from to the exact point.

Doubtful, they're likely just a good deal above your skill level and have years of practice on sound direction and spotting movement. I mean some small time streamers might be and some big time ones have been caught in the past but I think it's highly doubtful any of the popular PUBG streamers are cheating, the risk/reward is just silly and they know there's people sitting watching every stream just waiting to try and catch them out on everything. All it takes is a tiny slip up or someone who knows what they're looking for and it's goodbye to your channel.

Another speed hacker tonight, and numerous concomitant

I simply don't believe Battleye's numbers - it looks good for them to be banning lots and lots of people. Is there any way to verify the numbers banned e.g. through Steam or some other programme?

how would that work? it would stream their cheat live for everyone to see. as in wall hack would be easy to see they are using it and this is basically what you are suggesting they are using.

the top streamers are just very good at the game.

This explains it pretty much.

But it goes down to kills, rank and hits. More you do, more points you earn.

Also, Solo, Duo and Squad, the points you earn become less as you have more players.

I'm pretty sure there are cheats out there that have been designed with streaming in mind. Where the host, can see the cheating UI but the streamers don't see it.

I don't mean the top streamers. I mean the ones further down with fewer viewers. It just seems odd some of the plays they make. Hard to describe.

There's ways and means to hide it for the viewers, trying to find the video where a guy was playing with an ESP but it wasn't showing that on the stream until he accidently alt tabbed one day :D

the funny thing is cod and bf games have about a ten percent player base who cheat so i dont get why people are too surprised.when the game was early out i worked out its was close to 0.5 percent of the playerbase.dunno what it is now.still probably lower than bf1.

See, this is why I don't really trust people who are really good at games, it's so easy to cheat, just like that. Even worst when they can turn it on and off with a hotkey with some smart playing, so they die a few times but when they really need it, they turn it on for a few kills and again...

Have you guys seen this girl? She got caught out and blamed it on "CLARA". Watch her face, it's priceless, absolutely priceless. You can see her brain ticking it over, you can see her thinking really hard, first to ignore it, then trying to think of a reason to explain it and finally, she starts making up a story on the go, her eyes on the other hand are telling a other story.

It's honestly true what they say, the eyes are the windows to the soul.
