PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Im still not sure whats going on with this game. Ive seen a couple of bits, but it looks like another dayz to me. Is it worth getting??? Or will it end up being another dayz? Does it run as bad as dayZ?

Its not Dayz.

Its actually good.

The end.

Few early access games are good, this is up there as one of the best "early access". My entire synical anti early access clan play this. Its the first time in years has everyone been enjoying one game. There's a reason its in the top 5 twitch views every night.

I've had a few nights of bad noob runs.... Made me realise that tactically you cant play this game as an FPS.... You MUST assess if you can kill him/them quick enough for them not to zero in on your position..... If you miss, then you need to Oscar Mike asap.
 
For a game with so many players, and that is so new, I'm surprised by how few cheaters I've come across. Only two for me so far. One was someone warping from room to room as I was chasing them in a house until the exact moment I was reloading (as all my bullets were missing due to the warping) and then they stopped in front of me, shot me and vanished.

Other time was yesterday. Landed with someone else, followed them into a house (no weapons as fresh off the ground) and I'm throwing punches at them but not one of them was hitting, despite hitting the collision detection of their body.

That could just be down to lag.

Na.... Warping one is too far fetched. No way would someone be able to accurately do that with such ease.

It was 100% lag. I had simular, heard two shots from a guy stood next to me, i fired and thought i killed him.... 30 secs later while running away i insta died.

Yeah, it was very possibly lag. It wasn't warping in the traditional sense, but say ran into the kitchen, I was behind him, shot at him and then he is over by a doorway ect.

Incredibly frustrating to play against as it's not exactly a game where you're rewarded with a second chance :lol:

Still love the game though! I really want custom games though. Any idea if they're coming or even speculated at?
