PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

One mans poison is another mans wine. Its my current game of the year :)

Seems some folks are just having bad luck with the DSync and graphics settings. I'm running a first gen i5 750 and r380x and I can have a couple of settings at medium and remain reasonably playable even given the fact the devs have said themselves optimisations need doing. Shame your having problems, it really is a heart racing, sweat inducing game (even in its current state)

Might be my lame PC haha. Just had another case of being shot with a shotgun before I even saw her (his?) gun fire.. Had enough now. Will check back in a month

(Who am I kidding... on it now)

Since before it was on steam I've had a wall at 3rd in Solo. I just cant get the rub of the green in the final circles.
Just had another 3rd guy who killed me won the game easily as he was in the ideal spot, I blow his helmet clean off but lost the fire fight.

Its driving me crazy now, My wife came out with the "its only a game stop shouting at your monitor" bit just now I need to grab a drink and chill for 5 then I'm going back and I am going to do it.

Imo, its inevitable that it will overtake H1Z1 soon, Battlegrounds is seen very much as a game on the up, whereas many see H1Z1 as something which has gone stale in terms of development. Good to see Battlegrounds continuing to rise though

Rather interestingly H1Z1 is still going strong.

The only issues I have with Battlegrounds is that Squads are restricted to 4 rather than 5 and that Squad servers definitely suffer from desync more than Solo/Duos which I have no interest in.

Oh dont get me wrong, H1Z1 isnt dying. Its still doing fine, my point was merely that one is noticeably growing, a growth which only seems to be increasing, and the other isnt really significantly increasing and has plateaued. Hence I think its only a matter of time now before Battlegrounds overtakes H1Z1 in terms of activity

As soon as they fix the optimization the player base will soar above h1z1 I reckon, a lot of people not playing it just because they can't right now.
