My predictions:
- Bluray drive
- Supports 4K video output for future
- 1080p games
- Games will still be on discs
- USB ports still
- SSDs for internal storage
- Runs quiet
- Controllers will be similar to previous ones to help keep costs down and put more money into the actual console hardware
- A large effort will have been made to keep the console highly secure
- It will be black
- It will be an odd shape and not fit in our current hifi racks
- Large emphasis on youtube/sharing integration
- Will be sold again as "central media hub" despite having Cinavia protection built in and again not playing .mkv files natively.
- Revised game update/firmware deployment options such as silent background jobs at scheduled times.
- Will be more power efficient but will still use about the same amount of watts.
Overall, I wish for Sony to focus on this as a games console, rather than trying to be a compromised jack of all trades master of none "central media hub". The later will always be crippled if made by Sony due to their love of DRM and Cinavia. So just make it give the best gaming experience possible.
