The PS3 failed? That's news to me.
For the first year or two and compared to the PS1, PS2 and 360 then yes it did. And it's still not caught up.
Look at the UK sales figures for the PS3 and 360 and the game sales of each, the PS3 is miles behind.
Maybe fail was the wrong word, but you get what I mean.
For the record I own 2 PS3s and 0 360s
£280, 6/7 years ago. Equivalent now will be nearer £350.
Except you're going to be waiting a year for your "good thing" whilst everyone else is enjoying PS3 games.
Have fun with that.

I'm pretty sure it has, infact from whats been said on these forums before, I'm under the impression its now ahead in sales, units moved.
But yes, the PS3 did have a slow start up in some parts of the world. Not in all parts of the world though.
PS3 didn't have a killer app at launch either, it wasn't until it hit £299 & MGS4 came out that I deemed it worthy of my hard earned cash. Saying that, the 360 didn't really have a killer app either (a selection of 'decent; games though, Kameo/PD0/Condemned/PGR3) but I grabbed that on launch day! I guess that's just 'ooh shiny new thing' syndrome.
yep they are about equal at world wide sales now, with PS3 expected to take over this year. When you consider that the PS3 launched a year later and with a much higher price than the 360, that's pretty damn good IMO.

And as for it being a failure.. lol. You wonna know what failure is... Look up the Sega Saturn. No console has failed, since that consoles demise.

This is interesting! Bf4 has been shown to select retailers apparently
And they did have timed dlc on ps3 like 1 week ahead of everyone else so maybe they are announcing at this thing then
you could have traded in PS3 with PS4 at games.
It'd certainly be a massive win on Sony's part if it does happen.
