PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

hi guys - so i'm considering upgrading to a pro. Most of my games are on my secondary usb hard drive....is it possible to just plug that drive in, log into my psn account and see all those games appear, ready to play? Or would i need to redownload all of them?
 
I obviously spoke too soon. Rise of the Tomb Raider froze again last night. The only thing I can think of now is the length that the Pro has been on. I've only played this game for two evenings but the console has been on since noon both days, with my nephew playing Nom Nom Galaxy. So by the time TR crashes, it's been on for a solid 12 hours.

At this rate, I'm going to have to get my old base PS4 out of its box to play on. :D

That shouldn't make a difference, it'll be getting to its peak temperature fairly rapidly. Is the fan ramping up and getting noticeably loud?

Not entirely convinced this will be the case

1) Scorpio is likely to be at £100+ more expensive, so will be in a different price bracket (unless MS do something amazing, but is this realistic?)
2) If Pro's are still selling out in a few months time which they still appear to be doing now, why do Sony have to do anything price wise?
3) Not sure how much Sony spent on developement of the Pro, but this might also have a baring (if they have already made their dev money back, they MIGHT adjust the price, but depends on 2) as much as anything)

It wouldnt be that surprising if Sony came up with a Pro+VR bundle includ camera and everything else for sub £600 for holiday / christmas special just around the launch of the Scorpio (again depending on price MS launch at)

The fan is not making much noise at all.

Who knows what's happening with it. Maybe the people who say it runs fine on their PS4 Pro are just playing a couple of hours. Maybe the people who say it crashes are playing for five or six hours. Could be a memory leak in the game? But then why does it crash within minutes upon a restart? Clutching at straws but it's difficult to say it's the hardware's fault as all my other games run just fine.

Sounds to me like a heat issue. I'd be looking to return it.
 
Just got my LG B6 Oled and now looking at either the PS4 pro or Xbox S, I have both standard versions and will be eventually updating both but unsure which to get first, I think maybe the wise decision is get the Pro and wait for the scorpio?

Yeah definately get a PS4 Pro now and wait for the Scorpio.
 
Anyone here using a vertical stand? What stand did you get?

The official Sony stand looks flimsy from the pictures but it is the official stand so yea.
Other stands from amazon have fans built-in and with charging ports. This looks more beefy but its 3rd party. Any have this kind of stand?
 
In the official trailer to everybody's golf, at the end it shows a PS4 pro but I'm sure it looks different to mine and it looks like it has an extra USB port. Looks less sloped at the front. Is this a pro slim?
