PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

I recently bought a 4TB external laptop drive for my PS4 and didn't have any issues with it. I take it you went to the proper settings on the PS4 in order to format it? I admit I had to google it as I didn't know where it was :p

Interesting fix for that problem though. How did you tape it?

Cut some cellotape.

It was odd. I fixed it, and its been working fine ever since. And I too had to google how to format the drive, as it was buried in Devices, not in storage like I thought.. Good old Sony.

I think you're going to have to wait until the Scorpio release before you see any real deals or movement on the price of the Pro, and even then that will be dependent on whether or not the Scorpio comes out in the same price range as what the Pro currently is.

There are bundle deals being planned for E3, I can assure you.

I'm in no real rush atm so can always wait a bit longer especially since most of the ps 4 exclusive titles that I want aren't out yet.

For a second there I had you confused with Narj.

No idea who that is or what you mean tbh :p

DO IT!!!!!

I need my gaming buddy to co op with, cheesed off with pc gaming at the moment

Yup Pc gaming market just gets more frustrating every year....

Hopefully there will be some good bundle deals, ideally I would like horizon zero dawn and one of the upcoming games like spiderman or/and LOU 2 to be in a bundle deal! :D

Really want to pull the trigger on one of the 2016 OLED 55" TVs too but this years OLED TVs look even better :(

I think he's referring to the fact you might be heading down the same road I did in that I sold my soul and have almost abandoned PC gaming in favour of PS4 exclusives.

ME:A was supposed to be the game that made me upgrade, but instead of buying a £500 graphics card, I bought a PS4 Pro with a cartload of games and haven't looked back since. :D

Yeah, it's bit jarring getting used to 30FPS in some games at first along with lower quality textures but it's an acceptable tradeoff for a much easier overall experience, especially multiplayer with mates. I can honestly say that TLOU:Remastered and HZD beat anything I've played on PC the past few years, with the exception of TW3.

Yup that is what I am wanting the most now, stress/worry free gaming. With pc gaming, there is just too much worrying/stressing about with future hardware/upgrades, good ports on release day and as a result just can't enjoy the game a lot of the time.

30 fps and 16.9 is the only thing that puts me of consoles but I think a nice oled TV would make up for this in some ways....

Wildlands hurt my eyes to start with in all honesty but I'm now used to it and it doesn't bother me.

Gaming on the sofa in front of a big TV instead of being sat up in the bedroom is much nicer. You need to watch your posture, though and avoid slouching!

I'm going to rebuild my PC into a smaller case at some point and move it to the living room seeing as I have a Roccat Sova. I suspect I'll only seriously get back into PC gaming once Star Citizen and/or one of the City of Heroes successors release.

So you're getting one in the end:p

Horizon, U4 and TLoU are a must. Also, Gravity Rush 2.

Be sure to grab Yakuza 0 as well, that actually beats practically everything in the last couple of years in terms of fun factor and is pretty unique. 100+ hours of content if you get sucked into side stuff and runs at 60fps:D Also, the substories will have you in stitches:p

If you haven't played Nier: Automata on PC, get that on the Pro as well (a lot more hassle-free experience than on PC and also 60fps). I won't say anything more about the game, just forget your usual expectations about storytelling/characters/gameplay etc. and dive in.

Just one tip: don't read anything about the game etc. and try to do as many sidequests as you can:p
