Whereas for the PS4 all I get of value (to me anyway) is the ability to play online games. Which was free on the PS3. PSN+ - great deal for the PS3, utter crap for PS4 :/

Awesome, I've been curious about Borderlands recently so that solves that problem nicely.

Will be a while until I get to it though, still got most of last year's games to get through first!

It's only been out a few weeks, you can't really expect PS+ offerings to be akin to what's on the PS3 can you.

It'll probably be Ubisoft that steps up to the plate first. AC IV Black Flag is the first non-indie game to be given away in September/October. You heard it here first.

Only because one of those was meant to be DC PS+ edition, which in reality was just part of the game ala F2P.

No, but for it to be worse than what I had with the PS3 without PSN+ grates a little bit! I have one PS4 game and have to pay to play it online :/

you have more than one ps4 game surely?

you have warframe, war thunder, resogun, contrast and a few others to play for free as well.

the reason why they are pushing psn+ is because 360 has been pushing gold for years and for them to pump money into advancing online they require money coming in.

playstation online on the ps3 was terrible compared to the 360.

now the ps4 is arguably better than xb1.

it's only £30 a year which works out at 60p per week. i spend more than 60p per week on other things which don't give me even half as much value in terms of entertainment.

So go buy more then. It's a brand-new console, the fact they're giving any games for 'free' is rather unprecedented.

I know, I know, just being tight and supporting a multi console/pc gaming habit

I didn't mind online on the PS3 btw (far less annoying kids on mics than on the 360!), but yeah, when you boil it down to pennies a week it's fine. Still, bah humbug!

I'm mostly bitter about my PS3 packing it in and not being able to play the last of us dlc.

Quick question, if I log into a PS3 and DL a game, do I have to be on my profile to play it or can anyones profile on that machine play it?
