Playstation Plus

EA access is great if you like their sport franchises. Personally I have no interest in anything on that list other than BF4 and (at a push) Dragonage.

Totally... I too just looked over that list. I do like sport games, but I like to play with the latest teams, and the rest of the games would also be battlefield and dragon age , but I'm not going to play NHL 15 with 16 just around the corner...

I tried pvz as I got that free via an EA promotion. Glad I didn't psy for it.. Not my type of game, can see how some find value in it. But even if it was on ps4 I'd maybe only buy it for the new game trials... Now that is something ps+ needs to do more with , fulll game trials..

Everyone. If you've not tired it yet. Then don't bother with ether one. It's extremely unstable. And has a rather nasty game breaking bug towards the end. I'm trying to work around it. Only so as I can nab the platinum , which at the moment doesn't seem worth the hassle. Glad I never paid for this game , but that's the thing about ps+. Try new games I'd maybe not try due to having to pay for them..

But yeah ether one is a right glitch feast truth told. .

What game are you talking about?

I quite like Limbo, a decent game. Got it free on Xbox Live when it was on there about 18 months back but never bothered much with it.

Are PS4 game download times always horrific now? I bought LittleBigPlanet 3 last week and it took about 6 hours to download. I checked connection and PC was taking down data at 11mb per second and uploading at 800k so it isn't the connection itself. Are there PS4 settings I can try?

I feel that if a price rise is necessary then it should be across the board. Why is the 12 month option exempt?

I may just cancel mine as I do not feel the content or the service offered is worth that kind of money.

I only really play CoD online so I wont be missing much in that regard and the free monthly games offered thus far are mostly meh.

I find downloads awfully slow too I don't achieve anywhere near my line speed consistently. Pausing and restating downloads speeds them up temporarily though weirdly.

all they have done is change their pricing structure to the exact same as MS's.

you get a better deal by buying in bulk that is why 12 months is exempt.

if anything you could argue 1 month and 3 months subs have been getting a good deal up until now as it was cheaper than xblive.

depends on how you like to look at it glass half full or half empty.

your now paying the same price as xbox users across the board which seems fair not a harsh deal as people are making out.

Vote to Play Begins Thursday, Help Decide Next PS Plus Lineup

Today, we’re pleased to announce the games that will be part of Vote to Play — our special promotion that enables PlayStation Plus members to vote on one of three PlayStation 4 games for next month’s PS Plus game lineup. All three of these games would be a great addition to our lineup, and we want to put the choice in your hands when voting begins on Thursday, August 13th.
Without further ado, here are the games on the ballot.

Armello

A grim fairy-tale board game come to life, combining deep, tactical card play, rich tabletop strategy, and RPG elements. Set in a vibrant magical world with a tinge of darkness, Armello thrusts players into an epic struggle for power as they quest, scheme, explore, vanquish monsters, perform the mad king’s royal edicts, and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello.

Grow Home

You play BUD (Botanical. Utility. Droid), a robot on a mission to find the Star Plant and save his planet. Discover a strange open-world: a planet of floating islands, with precipitous drops, caves and waterfalls to navigate, all rendered in a minimalist but beautiful art style. Grow the giant Star Plant and use your unique climbing abilities to reach ever higher ground, but be careful as you ascend because one wrong move and it’s a long way down!

Zombie Vikings

From the creators of last year’s indie hit Stick It to The Man! comes a new co-op, four-player stab-you-in-the-gut-a-thon with a dead-funny adventure. Hack through the boiling gingerbread swamps of Molgaga, take a cruise through the intestines of the Midgaard Serpent, fight giant troll poultry, and find out how Söccer was really invented.
Voting starts Thursday, August 13th at 8:30 AM Pacific and ends Monday, August 24th, at 8:30 AM Pacific. The final result will be revealed after voting closes. If you’re a PS Plus member and you want to cast your vote, simply log on to PS4 with your PSN account, and access Vote to Play under “What’s New,” “Notifications,” or visit the PS Plus section of the PlayStation Store, where you’ll find details for Vote to Play.
The game with the most votes will automatically be included in our September free game lineup, and PlayStation Plus members can get the two runners-up at a discount. We can’t wait to see what PlayStation Plus members decide for September in our first Vote to Play event. We’ll have more events in the future, so stay tuned.
You can find more information about Vote to Play here, along with the benefits of being a PlayStation Plus member.
So tell us, what game are you planning to vote for?

We’ve carefully hand-picked these three titles, and love each of them equally! It’s going to be a tough decision, so make sure you check out each of the developer guest posts linked to above before making your informed decision! What’s more, look out for guest posts from each of the developers later this week, in which they’ll be making their case for your patronage!

If you’re a PS Plus member and want to cast your vote, simply log on to your PS4 with your SEN account and you’ll find the Vote to Play link under “What’s New,” “Notifications” or in PlayStation Store when voting begins. And don’t worry if you change your mind. Simply log back in and change your vote – it’s as simple as that!

To be clear, Vote to Play will not be a monthly feature, but will take place at regular intervals throughout the year. We’re really excited to launch this new exclusive feature and we hope you enjoy it!

For more information on how to vote check out our walk through video below or visit www.playstation.com/vote-to-play.

So, there you have it. Don’t forget, voting kicks off this Thursday 13th August at 4.30pm BST/5.30pm CEST. Make sure your pick is in with a shot at victory by heading over to your PS4 and casting your vote before time runs out! The chosen title will be announced on 24th August and will be added to your Monthly Games line-up from 1st September. The remaining two games will also be available at a discount from PlayStation Store from 1st September

Your loss to be honest, some of them have been very good.

Yeah I've enjoyed a few of the indie ps+ games..

Was Resogun an indie game? Anyhow, contrast I enjoyed, ether one I did play and I'd have enjoyed more if not for the bugs and glitches, and I did play and finish never alone but that game had crippling frame issues which was a shame.

Still got a backlog of ps+ games to complete... Cant complain, however just because I enjoyed some of them doesn't mean everyone will..

Indie games do depend on how much time you have to play. Between work and family I get very little time to play so when I do I prefer big releases. I think of indie games as more handheld consoles. Doesn't seem right to me on a 55" screen.

That's just my opinion though. I give most of them a try but none have taken my interest.

It's not really a loss when you have no intention to play an indie game. I'm not asking for AAA games on PS Plus, I'd rather pay a little bit less and just get online as I've no interest in playing what they offer as a free download.

This comment saddens me.

Why though ? See above, different strokes for different folks. I'm not a hardcore gamer, know what I like and don't play the PS Plus indie games due to that.
