Playstation Plus

Why though ? See above, different strokes for different folks. I'm not a hardcore gamer, know what I like and don't play the PS Plus indie games due to that.

Honestly find it strange how people are prepared to dismiss a whole range of games because their 'indie', or perceived as being indie (Grow Home is a Ubisoft game but has already been dismissed as indie trash in this thread).

Shouldn't really matter if a game is developed on $50 million at a massive company or a shoestring in a garage, if a games good it's good.

Depends on the context of his post.

If he means they are "pointless" for him personally, that's fine - no problem.

But if it was a general comment reflecting indie gaming in general, then that is sad as some fantastic stuff comes from independent studios that we would never get from the big companies. We need the smaller folks to keep coming up with good ideas and offer something different.

Grow home looks really good, I vote for grow home : - ) I like indie games, they offer me at times quick to get into and complete games, they are either free on ps+ or cheap to purchase and I generally find I do tend to complete far more indie games then I do AAA games.

And many indie games have just as good production values IMO. I do also find I play many smaller release titles and totally forgot its an indie game, and one of the biggest racing games started as an indie game, project cars, and that has very good graphics. Nothing wrong with AAA games of indie games filling my ps4 HD , I play them all, but like I said I do tend to finish more of the smaller indie games ...

Rocket League?
DriveClub?
Metal Gear Solid?
Resogun?

they aren't designed to keep you playing forever but they are good games you can play now and again.

Since when was Metal Gear Solid an indie game? I bought it when it first came out.
Driveclub, no didnt like it.
Resogun looks naff IMO not my type of game.

Im waiting for the full games, things like Knack would be alright. These games that look like Android/Iphone ports just dont appeal to me.

so you haven't bothered trying rocket league then?

it puts more stress on the console than destiny does.

so it's definitely not an android port. you can see individual blades of grass. trees swaying. drops of rain falling. ball/car physics.

it's the best psn plus game so far.

LOL - you'll take a terrible game like Knack, but dismiss all "indie" games? I'm pretty sure people are confusing "indie" games with "2D" or games that don't come from a massive publisher. I bet people dismissing all these games have no clue whatsoever which development house made them, and they don't even attempt to play them, so the only things they're basing they're decision on is:

1) Looks (despite a lot of these smaller games being graphically fantastic)
2) Publisher
3) Cost - if it doesn't have a £50RRP, it surely can't be good..?

You will be waiting a while for games like Knack. Is it a bad game? I didn't think so, I actually enjoyed it.

If you want Knack, go buy it instead.

Not really. Ive tried,

Limbo
Styx
Muramasa
Dragons Crown
Hoard
Vessel
Brothers a tale of two sons
Proteus
Titan Attacks
Lone Survivor
PixelJunk Monsters/Shooter
Fez
Steamworld Dig

Thats just a few from the ones ive tried, didnt like any of them.

can't you pick up knack for like £1 these days anyway? i know watch dogs is available for a £1 now.

i see the games as a bonus rather than part of the £30 a year deal.

if i like the game then brilliant, if not then no big loss.

Armello would make me re-subscribe to PS Plus, nearly bought it on PC several times but it doesn't tend to discount well.

Disappointed grow home won, as the zombie one had 4 player that would have been worth a go, and the other option was at least something a bit different.

As others have said not sure we need any more 2d platformers though!
