Got a refund on my Thrustmaster as it never arrived.. surprisingly.

So have ordered the official Sony Crystal Case... seems to have fair reviews and is cheaper as well, so no grumbles there.
 
Right I need some answers on the Vita memory card.

Im running our of room from downloading games on my 8Gig card and I am looking at getting a 16Gig card for when Mortal Kombat and the next games come out. So my question is what happens when you swap the memory cards round? Does the live screen remain the same and trophies etc?

What about game saves? and all of those kind of things.

You see Ive decided to not buy games from stores as they are either the same price or cheaper on the PSN store and it saves on the hassle of keeping boxes and swapping game karts round all the time so im going down the complete meory card idea except for Uncharted which will always stay within the Vita game slot lol

Any answers appreciated :)

If you connect the Vita to a computer you can move all saved data onto the new card when it arrives.
As for just downloading games what about the cash you could be saving by selling games on/exchanging them for new ones?

Connect to Content manager and there is an option to Backup to the PC, do this then reload back onto new memory stick.

I prefer having a hardcopy of the game, as in a way downloading the game for £30 and keeping it on a memory stick is costing you more, the download plus the costs of the space on the memory stick.

I just got the game mate, gameplay is good but i feel the graphics are better in Wipeout and Uncharted.

Anyone have any input on the quality of the Sony PS VITA Licensed Custom Crystal Case (PlayStation Vita) ?
 
No you dont understand. I dont want to backup and transfer data to a bigger memory card I want to keep the memory card and download new games on to another memory card once the 8Gig is full and the swap between cards as and when I want to play certain games.

As for the saving money on trading in games if I bought them as hard copies. Im not bothered about trade-ins. I don't need to and Id rather keep the games I get as they are so great Ill play them again some day. Digital downloading of games is common place on PC anyway and you cant trade PC games and once the new next gen consoles are released trading in games will be a thing of the past once they lock games to gamertags like PC games do with one use codes.

Anyway can anyone help me with my specific questions please :)
 
I see mate.

Try taking your memory card out now and see if the live screen keeps the icons, also the trophies are stored to the PSN account so should be fine.
 
Quick question.

If I buy a vita memory card can I use my PSN account on that one while my bro uses his account with his memory card without ballsing around with factory resets etc?
 
I have almost Platinumed MotorStorm RC. I just have another 17 seconds to shave off my total time to get all events under 40 mins.

Could anyone who has Platinumed this add me to their friends list? I normally play offline on my commute to work, but find it much easier to improve my times when on wifi at home, using other people's ghosts. I think only 2 people on my list have done all the races to that level so looking for a couple more to shave off the last few seconds by comparing ghosts.

anyone downloaded the free vita game on psn called treasures of montezuma blitz .
seems like an ok bejeweled clone
only concern is, i cant make the game last longer than a minute

Sounds like bejewelled blitz on iOS, which only lasts a minute and is all about high scores in the time limit.

I'm sure some of it would be people buying it due to the hype then realising they don't really need it, and a lot of it will be due to the fact that since launch there really hasn't been any major games released and doesn't appear to be anything worthwhile till June, PS1 support is still no where to be seen. Sony need to start announcing stuff.

I know consoles have a dead period after launch but Vita seems to have nothing much coming out in the next few months.
 
I guess those that are selling did not enjoy it or never used it as much as they thought :) don't see that many, 2 or 3?

Launch day catalogue of games is great and plenty to keep anyone going till the next wave of games.

I am extremely happy with my purchase (did a fair bit of research before hand) but I agree with everything in this post. Similar thing happened with 3DS, but Nintendo sort of remedied it by cutting the price (to pacify people while they waited for the "killer" games).

There has not been enough hype/advertising/announcements post the initial release imo. I want a firmware update with new features such as PS1 support and Remote Play.
