***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

After playing Kid Icarus Uprising on my 3DS most of the weekend I can only think how much better it would be if it was on the Vita, the hardware is great, I just hope we get some games to make use of it, otherwise I'm going to be playing on my 3DS more. :(

The problem is a lot of the awesome PSP games are not on PSN, such as Crisis Core.

Fair enough. I've had a quick look through the current PSP PSN titles and none of them ring any bells with me.

The only ones I was tempted by was God of War and Medievil Ressurection. The rest were complete unknowns to me.

there's a demo out for everybodys golf, need to search for it as it doesn't seem to appear on the PS Vita demo section of the PS Store, I actually downloaded it on the ps3 thinking it was a ps3 game, it's in the ps3 demo section i think

anyway, people who have this....is there plenty people play it online, always easy to find a game ?

Im getting abit disappointed at the moment as I have completed Rayman, Uncharted and Shinobi. Now I really can't find any games that take my fancy to get and play, so my VITA is just sitting here with not a lot left to do really. Such a shame we can't get PSone classics yet like FF7/8 that would keep me occupied to the next game spree :(

same here but not really finished a game except tales from space! which id highly recommend btw

was thinking of downloading a psp rpg for it but not sure if i will, may just hold out for the next vita game

Is anyone else also starting to slightly regret purchasing this system early? I mean its great, but I'm seriously struggling to find the need/want to use it right now due to not much entertainment :(

I'm still loving playing on mine but I guess a game like Ninja Gaiden is gonna take some finishing and is definitely a CHALLENGE! :D

It needs some new games now after a few weeks of people getting what they wanted from the launch lineup.

I'n not getting bored in the slightest in fact Im finding myself playing my Vita more and more. Got 100% on Unit 13 (awesome game) and on Motorstorm and StarDust and I am not trying to complete and then mop uo Uncharted which is an incredible hand held game. Just as good as the first Uncharted if not better although it is not without it's annoyances.

Once that's done I'll get Wipeout and Modnation Racers (Couldnt decide which so went for both)

By the time I'm done with those and after beating the next Festival on Motorstorm once it drops it'll be time for Mortal Kombat

.....Then I may find I'll be getting bored but by then we will have some new announcements and some new games due for release so I doubt that.

The Vita is practically perfect. Yes more games would be good BUT considering the lineup theres nothing to complain about. No console has had that much quality at launch and yes there may be few releases currently but Id rather have the range we have now then say 5 release games and then drip feeding every week for the rest or every month *cough* 3DS *cough*

if it wasnt for the odd game of fifa i wouldn't be using mine,I think its amazing piece of kit but just finding it hard to find a game i will play since i finished uncharted.I am looking forward to mortal kombat but feels like that release is ages away

Have you tried the demos online to see if anything else takes your fancy?

ye the rayman demo is decent but after playing uncharted i don't think the other games are worth the money at the minute.I just think most of the games that are out are not worth the £30+ and the games that are £20 and under are poor games.

Unit 13 is worth 29.99. Over 30 Levels, Co-op, High Value Target missions. Enough to keep you going until Mortal Kombat or any other new game. Wipeout is also incredible too. Your juts picky :P

Not really touched my Vita since getting the new iPad but that doesn't mean to say I regret my purchase because I don't, It's a fantastic system and my only worry is Sony not pushing it enough and could possible turn into another Dreamcast (amazing hardware with little to no advertising leading to no public awareness)

I feel Sony should have released it around the next COD/Christmas and even done a special COD pack for Christmas. I also believe that Sony need to compete better with the App store on prices, Motorstorm was a step in the right direction but their big games really need to come down in price. Most people are aware you can get some pretty awesome stuff off the App store for pocket money prices and will be put off by PSN pricing structure especially digital downloads that cost more than the retail boxed versions

I agree with this, the major point of the VITA was the dual analogue sticks for FPS on the move gaming, however nothing really takes that to the intended level right now, UNIT 13 comes close but doesn't have that right feeling of a FPS. XBOX had HALO, PS3 had Resistance but the VITA really was missing that good FPS launch title.
