My mate works in Sainsburys and can get 10% discount for me.

he says they are offering £199 for vita wifi plus fifa. Bang in 8gb memory card for around £30 and it totals at around 230.

take off 10% and all i pay is 207. good deal for vita fifa and 8gb memory? i can pick it up tomorrow

damm. just found out from my mate that its £240 for the vita wifi and fifa. Fifa is not free :(

So all in all with vita(199) + fifa(39.99) + 8gb(£28) = 266.99

10% discount of that lot is around 240

Is the store a bit flaky for anyone? keeps timing out when I try to get into my billing details

I had a few time outs trying to verify my card details on login.

Feel free to add me for some FIFA, won't have it till tomorrow but I'm up for it with others and also Peacewalker :D

Cant get the content manager working on pc, installed the program its running, but when i connect the Vita it just says "PS Vita" Type B no driver found.

Any ideas.

quick question: what happens when your playing a game, you pause it and turn off your vita?

Does the game continues where you paused it once you turn it back on like in the psp?

Doesn't seem to. I tried pausing the game and restarting and just powering off mid game, both times it took me back to the beginning after I rebooted the device.

Maybe there is a way to put it in standby (I can't recall exactly how this used to work on PSP)

So I'm seriously impressed with how easy it was to copy my music over to my Vita. Auto-detected all my music and let me pick and choose what I want.

EDIT: Tapping the power button puts it in standby. Press it again to wake it up, takes a few seconds. Same as the PSP Go.

On the PSP it was a quick slide of the power switch to put it in standby mode or holding the switch in position for a couple of seconds to power off. It was shown by the blinking of the LED but can't remember which way round that worked.

Oh I thought I'd managed to kill it then with the software update. I looked at it as it was ~50% downloaded then looked again a minute later and it was switched off! left it another minute and it's come back to life:D

Zone in Wipeout on this screen has got to be the sexyest thing I've seen, and Uncharted is blowing my mind.

Seriously impressed with this hardware, looking forward to seeing what devs do with it.
