meh still no PSvita for DPD. I dont think DPD have even received the the parcel from Play yet. I phone Play up and they said "yes it has been sent to DPD to arrive on the 22nd. I said and today is the 22nd if im not mistaken. Play said it should be with you today then"

DPD still says "Awaiting receipt of parcel" I sent Play an "upset" email especially as Play told me over the phone and via email it would be with me today. I'm not so angry tbh, but would like a money off voucher :D Failing that if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I'm just going to go the shops and try pick one up.

So whats the "networking" application on PSV to add friends etc? Are there any basic games you can play against each other or something? :)

I wonder if Tesco has some games... could go and by uncharted or something.

Alas I gotta cook dinner and do some work this evening :|

Result. Mine was £250. Nearly was £225 til she rang the manager and said she needed to scan the £25 vouchers on top :o

The application is very cunningly named... Friends. :p

Motorstorm RC is good for lap times and stuff, not head to head though, Wipeout has multiplayer, as does Fifa, the fighting games and some others.

Don't forget to set your panel to something more interesting than a block of colour.

to do that, select your profile in Friends, click the ... in the bottom right and click edit. In there you can select an image for your panel :)
 
Anyone tried Near. I have about ten people around me according to my Vita with PS Vitas. I wasn't expected there to be so many soon. I was expecting maybe one or two at the most. Looks likes sales are doing really well then. :D

Any good RPG's out on this? Looks really good but think I'll wait till it's sub £200 and has been slightly better established. I'm lazy and can't be bothered reading but can this play DivX in .avi 480p quality?

Near is an odd one. I like it and I tihnk the sharing side of it is cool ad it is freakishly accurate.

I don;t think people are reading it right though. When you go in and you see a smiley face with x5 next to it I think that isn't other players, just new games played. EG, mine says x5. When I clock on the crown it shows the 5 games I've started for the first time.

Just starting up a new one to see what it does.

EDIT: it won;t update your data more than once an hour so I'll have to wait. I live in a village of 1500 about 2 miles from the town so I'm not expecting miracles lol. When I go to the very centre of London on Friday though I expect that will change.

Does anybody know if any high street stores are doing offers if you trade a 3DS in? I've had mine since last March and now that I've played the demo of the only two games that I was looking forward to (Revelations & MGS3) I'm far from convinced and think I've bought the wrong console.

GAME, HMV or similar doing any offers?

Asda are doing a 3DS trade in offer.
 
Just picked one of these up. Never bothered pre-ordering but just called into Sainsbury's to see if they had any offers on. Wifi model for £199.99 when you Buy Uncharted (or fifa) for £39.99 so £240 less the £115 I had on my nectar card so £125. Then I vaguely remember something about needing a memory card. Looked at the cards there and saw 4gb for £17.99 and 8gb for £22.99. Thought I might as well get 8gb. Checked the price on the Amazon app and it was £27 so thought I'd just go with the one infront of me as it was cheaper. Rang up on the till as £29.99, got it knocked down to £22.99

One more thing, mine doesn't appear to have any of the protective peel things that such devices usually have. Is that right? Unless they are a very good fit and very clear:o
