Plusnet Discussion Thread

I could live with £25.49 a month for 38Mb down,it's a pity they don't do a tv service with some catch up options too.

Then go exercise the SLA to plusnet, whining here about compo isn't going to do much.

Get banned and save some bandwidth :p

There is a difference between whining and making a statement. How you interpret what I wrote is down to your own personal mentality, culture and preconditions which I cannot change, so think what you like I don't really give a ****.

Guys my friend has Street Fighter 5 on PS4 and he can't create a match nor accept from us. I've read that ps4 needs some nat or DMZ settings changed?

Any advice from anyone please?

Ever heard of SLA n00b?

I could write other stuff but would probably get banned.

So what is your SLA then with your ISP? Most domestic level ISP's don't quote one - you simply aren't paying enough each month to warrant one. Business class lines however will almost certainly have something written in.
99% allows for over 7hrs of downtime in any given month.

Your ISP is also almost certainly not going to take blame if the issue is further afield. An ISP can in theory talk to anyone about traffic and routing issues, but what is within their power (their own network and who they peer with) is about as far as their reach of influence extends. Your ISP will have an SLA with a network it peers with - but that will be about it.
