Only 74 hours to wait. Been without internet at home since the 28th (Openreach balls up, not Plusnet) so this'll probably melt my brain with the speed once it's up and running. (Going from my crappy 1Mb ADSL connection)
There was a DSLAM issue that came up when they were trying to do the Fibre installation eventually traced back to the exchange. Fixed a few days ago but earliest they would send out an engineer out is monday afternoon.OMG no internetsince 28th i'd be going mad, what did openreach do to balls it up.
Has anybody had any issues with usenet?
My speed is dropping after a few minutes ...and then when I dis-connect and re-connect, it shoots back up again ....but only for a few minutes.
Plusnet Tech Support have confirmed that they are not doing any 'traffic shaping' etc... as I am on 'unlimited'.

Try a different usenet provider.
I'm a little hesitant in joining Plusnet (that's mainly due to info I have read in the past they traffic shaped etc) but want fibre and they are offering such a good deal. Should I join or not?
I'm currently with BE so want to jump ship asap.
Also I have a DD-WRT router, will that work with Plusnet?
Pabl0 same here, its just turned 9am and nothing is happening no OR guy knocking on door as of yet.
Moved all the stuff ready, all that needs to be done is unplug old router when my net drops, see you all on the darkside i guess for now.
I'll post back if anything happens.
