My install date is today for afternoon slot. What time does the engineer call?

Plenty of time mate it won't take long and chatting to the bloke he had a lot of jobs booked in for all over my area so i wouldn't start worrying yet.

All connected now getting 73.44 down 16.40 up we'll see if it changes over time and see what i get tonight.
I didnt need to wait long for the plusnet router to get connected with the auto setup, i think i left it about 5mins when i first power router on thats it, tried google and boom i was on.

That's very bad mate. Did you contact plusnet about BTO never turn up.

Openreach haven't turned up for me today. Rang plusnet, apparently problem at exchange hadn't been resolved and openreach should have let me know they wouldn't be there. Nice of Openreach to inform me though. Now have to wait until 18th...marking 19 days without so much as a dsl connection...FUMING!

Engineer didn't show.

Called Plusnet, apparently BT have put an "Unspecified Delay" on the install at 16:59.

No explanation why. Nothing. Opeanreach never called me.

Everyone's in the dark about what happens next.

Cheers bud, 77.4 sync from 80 estimated.

Only loosing ~3-4 through the power line adaptors.

Been with BE for around 6 years but I want to move now, mainly because I want fibre and the fact that they have been sold to Sky has just reinforced my decision. Plusnet have a nice 6 months half price deal at the moment that I would like to take advantage of.

The only problem is BE say I have a contract until October so if I want to cancel I have to pay off the remaining fee. Any way around this? I think they renewed the contract when they gave half price broadband for the year.

How's Plusnet anyway? Nice stable/fast connection?

Plusnet having big gateway problems, had to drop session 2 nights in a row to get a better speed and ping, had to jump gateways, looks like its a on going problem, so anyone is coming over to plusnet you know what your getting into.

So how did you do this please? reboot the modem?

No no no no do not touch your modem, go login to the Technicolor TG582n FTTC router, click on Broadband Connection, there is a option to disconnect, you see it, press it wait 30secs and press reconnect. You should jump to another gateway test it before and after with the link http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway

Run speedtest.net also before and after the disconnect and reconnect, tell me how you go on.
