Pokemon GO! (2016)

I had a good spell this morning, I had left my car st work Friday as I went on the booze. Anyhow that meant I got the metro in plus walked about 3.5km.

Checked into 8 pokestops on the metro line and a few cultural sites, managed to catch a Grimer/Goldeen and Shelder and just failed at catching a Ghastly. Also caught a few more Weedrils to get a Beedril.

Was actually good fun being able to play :p

How much longer did you walk in take though?:p

I am actually starting to leave early to go to places.

Nice one :)

I evolved my Ghastly this morning just for the XP

Yeah, I found a Squirtle last night but the game bugged so missed out. Went back this morning to see if I could find it, nothing :( I've been working ridiculous hours recently with no lunch break so taking this as an excuse to reign it in. Will be out for a walk on my lunch break today ;)

I had a meeting at 0830 so sadly I couldn't linger. :p

I could have got a load more if not for a few signal dead spots right on top of gyms but they're you go.

Still only level 5 as I couldn't get it working at all on the weekend so all my Pokemon are rubbish but plenty of time to work on it. :)

I am lvl 9 and managed to catch a 700cp tentacruel on my walk from Fenchurch street to work this morning. :)

Yeah I desperately want a Pikachu, loads of people here have got him via 2km eggs. One guy has got 6 of them :(

He spawned at a park near me and by the time I got there and all my friends had got him, he'd vanished :(

That's very impressive! Good work!

I just wanna catch Pikachu! :(

There is supposed to be one at Coate Water in Swindon but we couldn't find it. Another visit is definitely in order but won't bother walking all the way round. There is a Scyther there too!

I plan on using it to boss about the low CP gyms close to my house :) One I went by this morning only had a 250cp fella in it. Bet that changes by tonight.

6 of us descended on a Gym in Swindon which had a 1600cp Snorlax. It was easy to take down but there were far too many people trying to take it. It stayed Yellow for about 10 mins before falling again.

Sorry if this has been stated already, I've just got into this and my son gave me a great tip for my first pokemon. Ignore the first three that spawn and walk, after they get out of range three more spawn, keep walking and this will keep happening. On the fourth or fifth respawn they're joined by a Pikachu. Got me a Pikachu for my first capture :)

Any newbs just starting this you get pikachu at the start by running away from the 3 Pokemon at the start 4-5 times.

Where abouts in London is the best place to find some rare Pokemon? I'm collecting a lot at the moment including a Bulbasaur this morning. I'm also trying to collect Charmander candy which I think I can only get by collecting the 2km eggs and hopefully hatching a Charmander to transfer to the professor.

Just had a quiet half an hour at work so loaded up the game -both pokestops that i can reach from the office are lured so i used my lucky egg, spammed about 15 pidgey and ratata evolutions as well as a few others I had been saving up and went from level 17 to 19 :)

I only had a brief poke but Hyde Park was filled with a lot of different pokemon and pokestops. I found a Porygon on Oxford street by Bond Street station as well.

Yeah, I got a Porygon yesterday too, dunno how rare he is but he looks cool, probably one of the best looking ones just because of how different he looks compared to he rest of them :D.

Thanks. I found quite a few things in Green park too. Jynx, Mankey, Seel, Nidoran and Magikarp mostly.

Does anything know if you need to keep your screen on when you walk to hatch an egg? It seems to turn off the gps so I guess I need to keep the screen on.

Yeah screen needs to be on. If you enable battery saver in the options though it turns the screen black when held upside down.

If you have battery saver enabled make sure you don't touch the screen until it turns back to the map fully.

Touching it before it comes back fully makes the app stop responding to inputs until you restart it.
