Pokemon GO! (2016)

The charmqnder no, as you get a choice of char/squirt/bulb as you start. The pikachu, yes, I'm jealous!

You can choose to start with a Pikachu as well btw :p.

But yeah, the starter ones seem to be fairly rare since you need 125 candies to get Charizard etc.

So far the only starter one I've seen is a couple of squirtles.

Not sure if anyone will know answer to this but is there any reports or evidence that they are nerfing the XP gain of people who installed/obtained the game before release date?

I have been playing a hell of a lot on Android since 4 days before release and I am nearly level 13 with a lot of hours put into it.... My girlfriend got it on release day on Apple and she is now level with me XP wise with I'd say not much more than half the time put into the game and no use of lucky eggs which I had done a few times with lots of evolves lined up. I honestly think it is giving me lower XP and her more to allow the release day folks to catch up to the people who were playing before release.

Never seen anything about that, nor heard anything. It'd be easy to check, just check how much xp you have, catch a pokemon and see how much xp you get (catching a pokemon gives 100xp without any bonuses for great/curve throw etc), then see how much xp it added.

You get considerably more XP for catching a Pokemon first time than for catching the same one again. So it makes sense that a new user would see an accelerated XP gain compared to someone who has been playing a while.

I think your just being paranoid. How would they know you side loaded it anyway, assuming you have updated it to the Store version the moment it was released?

Losing my rag with this at the minute. Went for a wander last night and thought I'd see what I could get. Everything cause it to freeze. The only thing I could catch was a pidgey that broke free 3 times!

Pro tip: If you tap the pokemon on the map - then walk away from it enough, it won't be able to run away during the battle.
I'd like to say it's less likely they'll pop out the Pokeball too, but can't be sure.

My house is an absolute hotbed for water types. They spawn in my garden every 15 minutes. Not just the boring ones either, Dratinis, Dagonairs, Tentacruel and all sorts.

No spawns anywhere near work. Which is fine really.
