Re my points on the last page Can anyone help? Do you still need to mate Nidorans? Also is there a trick to catching higher level Pokemon or does it get naturally easier as you get higher level yourself?

Not sure about Nidoran but the higher level you are the higher you will hatch! This is why I think its pointless evolving at early levels (even though you can get serious XP with a lucky egg) as the time/effort you put in is almost pointless since you will only catch something with a higher CP later on.

Erm, I don't think so, I think the guy said he was level 10. The best I've even seen at that point was maybe a 300cp.
Twice now I've lost an egg as the game has frozen while showing 'Oh...' with the egg on screen. It removes the egg but doesn't give me anything (I check journal on reopening). Seems quite a simple bug. Surely you don't remove until you've given the prize?

I've had that at few times too but you don't loose the hatch, it just goes into your Pokemon list. I randomly had a Geodude which I didn't know where it came from as I didn't catch one so it had to some from an egg where i had the same issue

Hatched Pokemon have their level determined by your trainer level when you collect the egg, so no point saving eggs for later levels, hatch em when you get em.
Your 330 still might have great bonus stats, which in the long run is better.

Hatched a 1700 Lapras from a 10k egg
Also found out I have a Vaporeon with 15/15/14 as his bonus stats
What are bonus stats? Got a good link to explain it?
Just random. I was lucky and had one of each evolutions without renaming them

Damn, Vaporeon is nails in the local gym! Need to get me one of those, seems to be the most "OP" Pokemon at the moment.
Nice. My vaporeon is sat in the clock tower in Maidenhead.
Caught a 1117 gengar on my lunch break, happy with that.
