Pokemon GO! (2016)

I'm still enjoying it as I still have loads to collect etc so still happily playing away but I know when I start hitting the "really rare only" wall and it's impossible to find stuff I will probably chuck it in as there is nothing else to do apart from collect right now.

Gyms are ok but those in quieter areas like where I'm from are a nightmare as they are dominated by a six stack, high level death team that is unshiftable whereas in inner city there are enough to wear it down.

I'm actually a little worried as the talk on future content was just more Pokemon, modifiable pokestops and breeding. All interesting not any sort of substantial content.

All in all though I am quite content right now.

That's why I'm on the slow down now.
More pokemon would be great if type advantage mattered as there are many more good combos in gen 2.but it doesn't

Now I've hit the 'wall' there really isn't much to do I could walk round all evening and not see anything new now.

I'm also seeing waaaay less people playing already than last weekend.
Having a bug ridden app for this long has to have hurt too.

I predict a gradual decline, a bump in players when new gen is released followed by more decline.

They needed something rewarding for leveling up. And old system of learning moves would have been fine!

Well a new bug for me. Only part of the map loads! I'm missing half of the roads and all of the green spaces and water!

https://pokemon.gameinfo.io/

Lists all possible basic and special attacks for each pokemon, their DPS, and the best configuration.

Quick question on the moves (if anyone knows). If you have an unevolved Pokemon with the crapper moves will they end up with the crapper moves when you evolve them, or is it random and they could end up with the best moves still?

Hope that makes sense..

Spawned today in the middle of my works canteen! My new highest CP Pokémon and my first eevee evolution! :)

I hate all you people with your bazillion stardust

I've barely been using it, only some on one single pokemon. I'm still only level 12, so I expect to catch much stronger pokemon as I level up. No point in spending all that dust on pokemon I'll just be replacing later. And then I'll have no dust to train those pokemon.

Yeah I've not used much dust for the same reason, I did to start with but would end up simply catching better stuff anyway as I levelled, so didn't seem worth it.

It's randomised as far as anyone can tell. That's why you don't spend star dust until the final evolve and if they get the best moves.

Yeah, I have more then 100k saved I'm guessing your going to burn through it at stupid speeds once you hit the higher levels.

Most obvious prediction in the world... ever. :P

Only risky bit, it might not be that gradual a decline. How much will this be played in a months time? I'd be surprised if I'm still playing then.

Hit level 22 last night and found a 605 Eeve...100k XP to the next level...this is going to be time consuming lol

Yep. I'd be surprised if I'm still playing in a month too. But at the moment I'm still enjoying it. My mates are still playing and I'm still finding new pokemon.

London Players

I'm heading to London with my brother on the 19th as we've got the day off work. Where would be a worthwhile place for stops and catching quite a number of Pokemon?
