Pokemon GO! (2016)

What kind of Gyarados evolves have people been getting?

Still haven't reached 400 magikarps yet. Best I've picked up is a 110CP.

I've caught a lot of magikarp. I currently have 1 with 130cp and 56-87% stats and 1 with 73cp and 98% stats. I catch a lot so I might evolve the one with higher stats and just power it up. Depends if I find a better one whilst collecting candy. I have 216 candy at the moment.

How many pokemon have you caught?

Not all that many. 253 captures. Seen 66 types of pokemon, caught 64.

The result of a combination of work and living in an area that has mediocre numbers of spawns. I am going to Glasgow tomorrow though, which has plenty of pokestops. Hopefully I can get some decent captures when I'm there.

How do you know how many captures you've made?

Click your character portrait. Its one of the medals you get. The collector one, top row.

Is the game down? I keep getting the GPS signal not found. I've tried 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi. I sometimes get the signal back, but I keep losing it again shortly afterwards.

Thanks. I'm on 873. I'm sure others have collected more.

I wonder if they'll ever add a way for people to request locations to be added as a pokestop. I mean within a very short distance of my house there's a monument to Robert Burns. Very famous Scottish poet. But its not a pokestop, when other weird stuff like a gazeebo and some rocks with coloured glass stuck on (modern art....pfft) get to be one.

Can confirm:

Holland park is now Bulbasaur
Primrose hill is now Cubone
Eel Brook Common is now Eevee
St James Park is now Tentacool
As far as I can tell Green Park is still filled with Magikarps
Magmar still loves Chelsea Football Club

Well, that completely changes my plans for the weekend.
I'm still seeing squirtle in St James Park and south Green Park area. Holland Park is definitely Bulbasaur now. I can't see Charmander or Pikachu anywhere.

Edit: I see a Pikachu in Hampstead Heath.
There still appears to be 1 Charmander in the Olympic park. Not a great source really.

Is there something up with the game this morning? Visited a few areas where there are always Pokemon and there's nothing, not even anything flagged as "close" on the tracker

There still spawning for me. Just looked on Pokémon go and there's a Lapras spawned in Glasgow. I'm going there in a little while, why couldn't it have spawned later?! :(

So now all the dratini have gone?

If it wasn't dead it my area of all be now.
I had a look for my area on that poke vision thing as I'm not playing any more.
Looks like I found all but one spawn points on my own.

Apparantly all the "nests" have changed so something else commonly spawns in them. Guess that's their way of switching it up.

London is still squirtle town by the looks of it. A few more bulbasaurs which is good but Charmander has disappeared almost completely. I'm still looking at what else is around but it appears there are less rare Pokemon now. Shame.

I hope they have sorted the Drowzee problem out. They are way too common. Almost as much as Pidgey.

There isn't anything in my area new to catch them. I'm not sure what a nest exactly is or if there are any in my area. But if where I used to find dratini there are none now... That's going to kill it for many people I talked to as many were saving up dratini and Magikarp
