Neat! That'll be good when it becomes public. Right now I'm not enjoying it at all as half the time there is nothing in my nearby/sightings panel and without pokevision etc, I now have no idea if there's anything at all near me...

If they can get that rolled out to everyone then for me at least, it will spark a little more interest.
For now, I just get the Pokemon image against a background of grass. I don't quite get it. But hey ho, hopefully we will get that other version soon!

Yeah, that tracking is so much better. It would mean that there is no longer a need for the tracking websites. I didn't see the need for tracking websites at first, but after I had used them for a bit it seemed to make things much more fun. If they incorporate that into the actual game, then superb!

My nice plus curve earlier only gave me a nice bonus. I just did a great and curve and I got both.

Done some evolving from the back of today's haul and got my first Wartortle, Persian, Golduck, machoke, Arcanine, Tentacruel, Graveler, Magneton, Cloyster, Electrode, Seadra and Flareon!
Well happy with that haul and pokedex now reads caught 100, seen 102
Your haul reminds me of the pokemon rap you used to get at the end of episodes
Not a bad night for me though it left me needing 1 Charmander and 1 Slowpoke before I can get them evolved. Went passed what I thought was an Eevee nest in the car but walking back there I only caught one

Awesome, I was always getting Great and Curve pre-update so hopefully I can keep it up.
Anyone have any clue what the old "Bonus" with 100XP was for? I got around 3 of them when I was out on Saturday.
Newb question: When trying to get the throwing bonuses I thought you were supposed to wait for the inner circle to go as small as possible? Because I only get 'Great!' and 'Nice' when the inner circle is as large as possible, in line with the outer ring.

The 100XP bonus is each time you catch a multiple of 100 of that pokemon.
I can "walk" around at 6m/s in the emulator and not trigger the speed warning, your GPS was probably bugging out or you were walking while catching something, when you come out it updates location and you look like you're going fast.

Yeah, I saw it last night when I was lying in bed because my gps likes to make me run around when I'm inside

if someone had made a conscious decision to drive and play a pop up won't stop them.
