It been quite clearly proved time and time before that Corbyn has an active core element and can rally them out when he needs them (think Labour membership). That core though isnt huge though. What happened before is the silent majority who cant be bothered to wave placards and pom poms in town will turn out on election day.

Being able to bus in lots of supporters to a rally isnt an indication of how popular you are.

So basically it is a non story - the Telegraph posted a picture of her addressing a small gathering... so what? The article doesn't portray it as anything other than addressing some local Tories.

Whereas you posted some nonsense involving a picture and then a cropped version of the same picture as though something sneaky had occurred - in fact there was nothing of the sort, the photographers can be clearly seen in your picture and it wasn't the one used in the article... it also contained an irrelevant pic of Corbyn addressing a crowd. The article clearly states local tories yet your picture makes some claim about the public etc..

Like I said it was a bit ironic that you made reference to people posting propaganda but your post that day was the closest example of propaganda!

How weird that people poured over the Trump election pictures, yet the very same thing here gets hand waved.

Because they show exactly the same thing?

How? What Trump "election pictures" are you referring to?

Do you mean the crowd for his inauguration which was evidently smaller than Obamas?

In which case how is that similar or 'the same' as a British Politician meeting some local party supporters?

Because they both showed what was perceived to be large crowds in attendance, and then when you were zoomed out showed small crowd numbers...

Are you being intentionally obtuse?

she's only doing select small Tory party appearances with limited invites? They aren't public gatherings

You have to admit though that with the close crop by the likes of the Telepgrah it makes it seem like there are more than 6 members of the public there and is slightly misleading.

In fact so few are invited along (a lot of the "crowd" are the travelling officials and press) that why even bother bussing it to a secret location at a disused airbase at all? She may as well just do it outside of No 10.

Well, I can see what the original picture is getting at and also what the person who posted the 'stage managed' info is also trying to say.

It just comes across as info wars.

Well misleading if the title of the article gave the impression hundreds turned up for the latest gathering. I agree its all stage managed and will be right through to voting day

Otherwise photographer was doing what a good photographer should do

No I was asking you to elaborate instead of throwing in one line posts that barely construe an argument.

They don't both purport to do what you say - the pic in the telegraph article is simply of May addressing local supporters, trying to compare it to Trump's inauguration is utterly ridiculous.

Frankly it is amusing that the other poster made claims of people posing propaganda (in reality legitimate criticism of both Labour policy and leadership) then posts some nonsense image trying to make a story about something non event.

To now try and compare it with Trumps inauguration makes no sense at all - that was a story where Trump made a claim regarding the same event for Obama. It is utterly irrelevant here.

firstly there isn't any 'crop' and secondly the article makes it clear these are local Tories she's meeting with rather than simply members of the public

The only crop has appeared in the 'fake news' picture posted earlier in which a photo not used in the article is shown below a cropped version of that same photo. When the article finally got linked to it is clearly not the photo used in the first place and you can see the actual press photographers in it taking a photo from the sort of angle you'd expect them to take one from. I really don't see what is misleading here aside from the dodgy Facebook type post in the first place!

Fake news is fake news shocker!
