I don't think Corbyn will resign even if Labour - as they are predicted to be - are utterly hammered in the polls. He will cling on to the mandate to lead that he has from Labour Party members.
I think May has the other parties on the back-foot now. Listening to them all on the radio it seems that none of them have a coherent plan to move us forward. Lib-Dems are the most convincing but even they will struggle to pull a decent and electable manifesto together in the time before the election. UKIP seem to want to bang the hard-Brexit drum as hard as they can but it won't matter as they won't win a single seat. Actually, that's the one good thing that will come of Brexit. With no MEPs required any more there will be no UKIP people in any positions of power at all other than a few council seats. This is good.

He is an absolute joke, has crazy ideas and and isn't fit to be PM.

People think it's bad now, picture us with that loony guiding us. :p

Which ideas? Specifically? Most of the stuff I hear him come out with is about making things better for people.

Conservatives just want to privatise everything and tax more, while killing the NHS, the education system and important protections for the weakest of our society.

Current government May / Cameron are murderers and should be in prison. How on earth anyone can think about voting for them completely baffles me.

No surprise with the vote on here, right wing clueless tory boys who have no idea about how real life is, don't come back moaning when you get so stiched up like a nana blanket.

The salt is strong.

I am right wing, well to the extent that I have voted Tory all my life, only 27 so I definitely have some life lessons ahead of me, but please feel free to teach me what 'real life' is?

Conservatives reduce tax not increase it. Increasing tax is a left wing policy.

Hahahah.

Voting for Conservatives, hopefully I'll get the hard brexit I want and I can experience real life..

Anybody who agrees that the people voted for a particular type of exit need only look at the myriad of TV articles or past 'Question Time' to see that what people were asking for was information and all they got were lies and spin.

Quite, there was a woman on sky this afternoon who thought we were leaving the Euro.

I'd say that by handing the Tories a big majority you are less likely to get your hard-Brexit. She needs a big majority to be able to get through moderate Brexit policies without risking losing the vote due to the fiercely Eurosceptic back-benches.
Odd though that you need a hard-Brexit to be able to experience real life. I experience real life just fine whether we are in or out of the EU and will continue to do so.

Did you read any of his policy statements last year regarding our military and isis? People being killed in the UK yet he was against any form of retaliation, scrapping trident, our biggest defence weapon, not to mention some of the things he has said in interviews.

He's not hated and judged just for being himself, his ideas and vision for the UK are what sent him down that road.

Other - SNP.

Maybe the Lib Dems at a push who seem to do fairly well in my area. Either way it's nice to have a choice other than Labour or Conservative, neither of which will do well in Scotland anyway...

Don't be silly, its all our fault, ISIS only exists because we do. We better not fight islamism as were only making it worse right?

I will be voting tactically to stop the SNP.

this is why the FPTP system is a pile of horse ****. People should not have to resort to voting tactically, this is not a game of battleships. People should be able to vote for whom / what they believe is best without having to worry about "wasting" votes because some Tory / SNP / Labour ?Lib Dem is in a fortress of a seat where they will only lose if they are caught having sex with a goat in the middle of the local Primark store.

So torn. I want brexit to go through without any more hitches but I don't want a strong Conservative majority or any majority... I also hate Tim Farron with a passion. I like JC but don't like the Blairites who can't get with the program. A tough choice.

Great democracy is working.

Except it isn't great, is it? There's an outside chance that with the current seats distribution the Tories can be held in check (you can argue about how ineffectual Labour are at another time). Having the Tories freed from this check, and furthermore freed from the further checks of the EU is not a situation I ever want to be in. If thats democracy you can stuff it. We have one of the most authoritarian governments in the world, I don't think democracy is about handing them even more power, and enabling them to weasel out of the designed checks on that power.

Spot on post of a terrible thought.
