POLL: Will you be moving from Haswell to Skylake?

I'm on 4670K will be moving to Skylake later in the year if performance boost are worth it otherwise will wait for Zen.

Sticking with 2600k at 4.6ghz :D

I've gone through 4 GPUs, 2 motherboards and a RAM upgrade on this same CPU. Theres just no point upgrading it and dx12 will likely extend the life even further.

Yes, only because I can cash in on my old chip and board while it's still worth something, had 18 months of use out of it,not because I think it will improve gaming which is all i really use my pc for.

Maybe if it's an actual upgrade... It's a tough one! Currently running a 4790k setup and i'm trying to resist the upgrade itch. I went from Sandy to Ivy and wasn't too impressed, and then made the same mistake again going from Ivy to Haswell/Devils Canyon for another small performance increase. It's a good move getting rid of the FIVR though with Skylake :).

I might just wait and see what Cannonlake and Zen have to offer.

No, because ive not got to Haswell, but I will be grabbing skylake or Haswell e depending on which looks the best option when skylake is out.

Finally retire the 8150 that has fought so valiantly against its own limitations and give the oh so hungry 290x something to feed it.

No, annoyed at the lack of decent broadwell options offered by Intel so probably going to wait until Zen and if decent then will jump ship.

Nope. I very rarely upgrade and just moved to 5820k. Waaayyyyy more power than I need but does a very good job of heating the room!
