Porsche Owners Thread - If you own one or just like or hate them! :)

The on paper specifications sound amazing, 420BHP, 3.9s 0-62mph, 4WS, seems the new Carrera can pretty much be specified with options to be very similar to a GT car without the crazy premiums.

Also twin turbo 3l, for those who are not so bothered about warranty can see these things tuning immensely and no doubt safely.

What I did not see is engine configuration, what are they flat 4, flat 6?

Still think I prefer the idea of the original 3.6/3.8l NA engines even if they are slower.

So true. These things will get rapped!

This new 991.2 is very tempting especially if the 991.1 prices firm us a bit more but I would really like a 458 and its around the same sort of money after you add spec.

Need some new rears, cheapest place for 285/30/18, usually get Michelin PS2s. Camskill coming back at £176 per tyre.

Out of the options I have I would always go PS2, for most of my driving they're absolutely fine, and they last an age.

I've just been watching a few sound clips on the new 991.2 and they sound gooooood!!!!

Also on another note, I had my OPC phone me at the weekend to see if I was interested in selling my car as I was offered pretty much the same money for it as I paid. So there must be a good demand for the GTS's at the mo.

I'd say so, a GTS with buckets, PSE, PDK Sports or Manual still an epic car!
