Nice spec you have there! I agree with the smokers package, its is a no brainer. Is it Pure White or Carrara White Metalic? As I know CWM has been dropped from the 718's and its gone back to a PTS option.

Speaking about the keys I have seen the keyfob in carbon which I have been thinking about ordering or going with the white. :o:D

Do you have a pic of yours? The ones you posted in this thread aren't showing up..

Took a few more pics today

Mine's the normal white. I think it pings more than the CWM, which looked too grey/ blue. Fortunately at the time of deciding, the dealer had lots of examples of the 2 whites sitting on the forecourt, which made the decision easier.

Ahh. I had the same experance and went the other way.

Its when you get CWM in the direct sun light, its has a blue hue to it as techincally its a pearl colour. It looks simplely epic!

I LOVE IT! The GT4 that is! :)

A great pair!

Question, was MPSS not an option instead of Cup 2's? Just as you won't track it so much MPSS would make it far better on the road and improve the comfort as well.

I bet Housey is going to hunt you down and kill you, I mean steal your car! :D

I noticed this too and was going to ask, are the Cup 2's not a lesser tyre to the top tyre MPSS or are they a track day tyre that are OK for the road as well?

They are not N-Rated in that size, so it could be a potential warranty issue.

The CUP2's are pretty much a semi slick tire (Homologated for the road, designed for the circuit), that's epic for warm dry environment but not so good for English winters / rain as my friend (well his friend) found out.

It would make more sense to fit a MPSS tyre but all GT cars come with these style tires.

Porsche could not deny you a warranty on a brand new car though, only an extended warranty.

They'd have a real hard time trying to prove tyres caused his engine to explode, haha. :D

Ill be putting that to the test soon, as I have made room in the shed. ;)

What's the deal with 2005-06 Porsche Boxsters (3.2). Hopefully buying the house in the next week so will be looking to finally treat myself after an austere year! Want to keep it in buying with cash range so maybe sub 20k euros.

Do these have the ability to throw up huge bills or are they reliable enough? Seem one with 45k miles on the clock, FPSH. Looks lovely..

Nikasil Lining problem, IMS/RMS issues. Its recommend to do a bore scope inspection before buying.

You need to go in with you're eyes open with these and check the normal other stuff.

Nah, good luck to the chaps. If I REALLY wanted I'd have, but for last 5 or 6 years I've simply struggled with whole car mojo thing. I think it's coming back, but it's not like it was for me.

I did not have a choice on tyres, the Cup 2's are a death trap in the wet or cold so much so I don't drive it if its wet.

The 981 Cayman is such a good looking car with all the GTS/GT4 kit on.

Yep, I was not a huge cayman fan but but the GT4 looks so aggressive.

Well the fun and games continue!

Just had the call from the dealer, they have ordered the wrong windscreen. I wonder if they manage to fix the clock this time. I'll have to wait till tomorrow for that. So they are going to update me in the morning.

So I'm thinking about making a official complaint to Porsche UK about this dealer (Colchester) as I am annoyed being given the run around.

I've been given a Boxster S as a courtesy car till tomorrow.
