Roll on Genvena 2016 ;)

I hear there so few coming to the uk there is no chance of getting into one. My dealer has already sold the one they think they are going to get so there is no way I will get a look in but there is a very good chance I will get into the next GT3 that comes out.

It sounds the normal process really now. My local dealer (Colchester) has now stopped accepting deposits on un-announced models and I've been told its by management appointment only. It's good job that I have no intention of buying a car from them ever (Especially after fun and games I've had getting mine fixed), ill stick with Bournemouth as I have a good chance with them. If not ill get a 991.1 model as they already know the spec I want. :)

I just don't think you will ever find a 991.1 GTS in the spec you want. There is a yellow one out there that is close but it has not got bose.

I know I am abit fussy but it has to be right, however, I did mean about a GT3 with the Bournemouth request. As I have already given them a spec list of what I want and what i'd go up to etc...

However, the GTS is a keeper, its such a fun car to drive and it's also bloody loud. :D

I would like to try driving one, if its anything close to the GT4 it must be a lot of fun.

You're welcome to give mine a quick go or I can give a demo of it.

Thanks, if we cross paths at a meet I would not mind a passenger ride, maybe I will ask the dealer to lend me one for the weekend at some point.

That's interesting, why not just buy the GT3 as surely those upgrades aren't cheap.

I do like the new steering wheel, I have been looking into retro fitting it but no one seems to have tried yet.

No Bose or ACC. :(

Bose aint anything special anyway, the sound system in the Mustang is better than my Bose was in the 911.

What is ACC?

One thing I will say, though it is a perfect specification and looks great the colour is simply too loud for the car. It really needs a more aggressive front splitter and a ducktail spoiler absolute minimum to pull of that colour, otherwise the same spec car in grey, black would be a far better in my view.

I can see why that guy on Rennlist with deep pockets did what he did, because in all fairness he is right a 991 C4 GTS will drive and be more capable than a GT3 on a road for sure and be a lot more comfortable, so I can completely understand why he did that because as road handling cars go it really is hard to be a GTS Porsche they are the pinnacle of road handling with great comfort and still perfectly capable on a race track.

For me the 997 911 really was the best looker, if anything I'd say the Cayman GT4 is a better looking car than the 991 GT3, for me nothing will top the Viper Green and Orange 997.1 GT3 RS cars, they were absolutely stunning to look at, but not so great on a UK road for going to the shops. :D

I wish they would make more of these 911R's my dealer thinks they will get 1 or 2 max, at least if the gave 5 to 10 each most of the good customers would get one.

Gibbo is right the 991.1 4GTS is probably the best all round day to day road car you can get. I will have one at some point.

I never thought I would say it but after looking at the GT4 every morning I think its probably the best looking porsche in there range at the moment.
