Porsche Owners Thread - If you own one or just like or hate them! :)

Thank you for the offer though, its much appreciated.:D

On a side note, paid for the windscreen today and collected the invoice, lets see how long the insurance takes to payout.

My local OPC looks like they have a loads of 16 plate cars going out this week.

I thought the sports suspension on the Cayman GTS I drove was more than good enough for the road, I wouldn't see any value changing that unless I was seeking to go quicker around a track.

Shame it will be a fun day. I also sent Housey a message but I have not heard back yet.

I responded ;)

I see GT3's are still holding strong money. :(

This is nearly my ideal spec but it has no club sport and I'm not a fan of the colour: > OPC Leeds - GT3

It's still nuts how much they are over list! Looks like ill be waiting a while. :(:(

Day is coming to a end so we are driving back to london.

It's the first time I have driven a car with PCCBs. They are just so good. So much stopping power.

oh wow!

That looks like a epic day of fun, mind you the parking outside the pub looks a bit tight. :p:o:eek:

The Turbo is a little bit nippy isn't it? I thing I find with the PCCB's isn't so much the brilliant stopping power, its the consistency and feed back they give its miles better.

It was such a epic day I invited a czech nurse with me and she also really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic and all the people where really nice.

I also had a really good drive of my GT4 again which was nice. I only managed around 11mpg

I spent a long time thinking about what car I would replace my 350Z with (6 months in fact) and went through all the logical process of working out which would be the best value for money, practical and just most sensible.

Then I drove a Cayman S :D

So I'm a rather happy owner of a 2010 Cayman S, with PDK, Sports Chrono, PASM.

I love the addition of her occupation :p

Not tempted by a turbo then?

wow looks lovely, how many miles has it done? PSE? Welcome to porsche ownership.

Cleisthenes, the 911 turbo is just too fast and just do not do it for me in the same way a na 911 would and I am not really into a Cayenne.

Lol, I added her job just for amusement value.

Unfortunately it's not got the PSE.

It has done just over 62,000 miles, but had very detailed service history, and had been used as a motorway cruiser over a good chunk of its ownership. Still feels very well put together and you'd never tell it had done that many miles except for the odd stone chips and wheel scuffs.

Excellent choice! I bet you're over the moon with that? How are you finding it compared to the 350Z?

I can highly recomend the PSE for a bit more added noise. :D
