Its one of those 'retro' options that nostalgic customers like to spec.

    Its a no from me.

Wait till your trying to reverse in the rain, it's the thing I miss most from my 996 as its very annoying.

I've used mine twice in two days now, so I'm glad it was there.

On that note I'm slightly missing the reverse camera I had on my ISF and the S3 before it, so I need all the help I can get until it becomes 2nd nature. Maybe it's just me, but the Cayman's curvaceous hips make it difficult to line the car up on my driveway :o

The wiper does look out of place on the 992, but tbh I think the arse on it is a backwards step.

Can you get reverse cameras on a 911? That might be a better compromise for some?

    Nice @Maccy
I especially like the platinum coloured seat backs.

Thanks, I think it has all of the desirables/must haves, but having never driven a GTS (and only driven a 911 years ago on a track day) I need to start going and looking at different vehicles and see which is right for me!

Could you not squeeze into an early 991 C4S at that money? The 997 never did it for me looks wise, ex Turbo/GT models.

Looks like a nice one. It's a decent chunk of cash though and you'd get into a manual 997 Turbo for the same money. You're not a million miles off a 997 GT3 either. I guess it depends on what your priorities are. The GTS is probably the nicest/best NA convertible 997 that you can buy.

Seems very overpriced to me... you can get into a 991.1 for that money... my friend picked up a very well specced low mileage 2014 991.1 C4S for similar price

Low mileage probably why they hiked the price. Would be interesting where you can haggle to.

Im not a lover of 997 cab's. Dont like the hump at the back. Id be tempted to go for a 991 at that money tbh, or maybe find a nicely specced 997.2 for around 40k.

It’s got everything I’d want tbh. That plus mega rare stuff like buckets and pccb. Nice car
