I'm just following the proof. If that's being an nvidiot then I'll gladly accept the label.

Do remember that there's zero proof of glofo, there's zero proof of any new chip, there's zero proof of efficiency improvements while at the same time:

-device IDs in leaked drivers are for hawaii cards
-leaked benches are showing exactly the kind of performance you'd expect from hawaii with slightly higher core and mem clocks
-codexl only new chip is Fiji
-vendors are using identical PCBs as 290 series cards, some even including 390X pics on their 290X product pages

Thats not proof, thats rebranding for OEM's, there are plenty of articles about it in this thread some pages back.

One of the reviewers managed to find some brains among their staff who realised an order from the likes of HP advertising new Desktops with R9 300 series GPU's at around the same time the R9 300 series was added to the Drivers list as being in some way related.

The rest like you just assume that because the R9 300 is listed as Tahiti/Hawaii.... it must mean the new retail GPU's are simply rebranded 270/280/290's. < i think i'll just shut up about what i think about people putting that together and coming to that conclusion, rules and all that...

Good Grief.....
