These benches do seem rather disappointing how is that mention to compete with a 980 or even the ti?

Are you trolling or simply don't know what this card is targetting?

The 390X is not the top end card to compete with the 980ti. The Radeon Fury is designed to compete with the high end 980ti/TitanX..

the new naming scheme is just confusing ppl
i am starting to wonder if this furry breed might be hard to find just like the TI has been in a lot of places >.<

stock is always low when they are first released wait a few months and they will be fully operational the shelves I the place of the 290x

Well the 980 is ~15% faster than a 290X at 1080p..1440 or 2160p they are much closer.
If the manufacturing is just matured and amd can fix the leakage which was quite high on hawaii, then we can see much better clocks and lower voltage.

Thought fury was halo/ titan X

390x to compete against 980ti ?

Fury has 2 or 3 alterations Fury X, Fury Pro, and lately there were new on a Fury Nano.

390X is supposed to be competing against the 980..maybe slightly lower...Fury Pro i think is around the 980Ti...Fury X is between Ti-TX, and Nano is on top.

Fury is going to be trying to match the 980ti and Titan X

The 390x is going to be filling the gap between the 290x and the 980ti at a more reasonable price than the standard 890 I imagine.

Just want to know what we are looking at with the Fury range on a performance/price range before making the decision on one of those or a 980ti.

I have high expectations on Fiji..given the specs, it should be faster than the TX and Ti

I hope the 390x are not just a straight rebrand, I need something better to tempt people to upgrade and sell their 290x nice and cheap second hand so I can pick one up for tri-fire ;)

the nano faster and then it depends what they did to the Pro as they might have assumed the 980ti would be 10% slower than the Titanx as would be the normal custom but instead they slaughtered their own titanx sales and it become EOL.

Look forward the Fiji Fury launch.

yeh its going to be interesting to see how much they differ
i mean the 290/290x was not a lot!

and rly the tx/ti isnt a lot either unless ur a vram junky so

But with the price point of the fury range being titan X money, the would put them in a different price range as the 980ti so the nest thing would be 390x ?

who knows what the fury pro is tho
if its cut down, by how much, what price that makes it
they could start just around 980money and go upto tx money :)

if they got 3 versions they can spread it out a bit, would make sense to me

My predictions are
Fury Nano - 15% faster than Titan X $900
Fury XT - 5% faster than Titan X $650
Fury Pro - equal 980 Ti $550
390X - equal GTX 980 $425
