Ha, it's probably just the old 290X boxes with 390X being printed over the top

So the new cards only have 1 DisplayPort connector and the adaptors don't seem to change that (unless the extra ports are in addition to the listed ones).
So how do you do Eyefinity on 3 screens that require DisplayPort (e.g. Freesync screens or 4K screens)?
The Kepler pre-release thread was actually quite fun. This thread OTH,seems more like an E-PEEN scoring match at times.
Plus, another thing is that the time period between the HD7970 and the R9 290X was around 22 months.
If Fuji is released this month,it would be around 20 months.
The Titan and Titan X were seperated by over two years.
I am not sure why people think Fuji is delayed TBH!
They getting rid of DVI? good job my old 2900XT came with a dvi to hdmi adaptors for both monitor and for the back of the graphics card, will still be able to use my monitor without a hdmi port
Don't see the point in getting rid of dvi, iv got a hdmi cable in my 7950 to the TV and its always falling out.
Tho the technical stuff, monitors all have build in absolutely rubbish speakers don't they? tho iv never used them, so hdmi would send a signal to them? so im guessing that would be more clutter to mess up or conflict rather than good old dvi.
Good old DVI that only does 2560*1440 @ 60Hz?
I'm not saying HDMI is much better, DisplayPort on the other hand...
Just like everyone else we’ve just heard rumors of AMD’s Fury X being limited to 30,000 units for 2015 and only coming with Liquid Cooling. And simply put those rumors are nothing more than that, rumors. In fact it took us less than 40 minutes to confirm with some of our most reliable sources which are very close to AMD that this was nothing more than baseless speculation.
Some more Fury X porn. I'm guessing this are all review samples. And supposedly reviewers got the drivers.
Whatever and release will be good for the industry on a whole, bit of competition. But outside of synthetic benchmarks, in a game, (which gpu's are designed for) there will be so little, 4-5 fps. Seen it when bf4 was the big new game, arguments about 780/780ti and 290/290x. Such a small difference between each. We were all able to enjoy good fpd with good details on all cards, yes its an old game which favours and cards, and a game I love despite its issues. But as an nvidia owner I had few issues with it. Few niggles with sli but soon sorted.
I've got a 980ti on preorder, but I'm looking forward to seeing what AMD 's newest cards bring to the table. Roll on the official specs, should be interesting.
