Leave the arguing to the fangirls, I just want new hardware..

Should have kept a 290 spare.
means that if you have two 4GB GPUs you will in fact get 8GB of usable graphics memory instead of just 4GB like you do right now. This is because instead of tasking each GPU with rendering a whole frame on its own, each GPU would actually render different parts of the same frame

This is huge? 8GB confirmed (16Gb=2GB per stack * 4 stacks = 8GB):
Just goes to show how slides get outdated and you can't trust them after a certain amount of time.
Also Fudo is running a paid FUD piece about Fiji being dual GPU, his "proof" is a mention of multi GPU on a Liquid VR slide... I won't waste your time linking it.
So, when Fudzilla wrote that Fiji is going to ship with 8GB of RAM, we didn’t actually think that we were talking about two separate GPUs, on separate interposers, with each GPU using 4GB of HBM1 memory. This is how AMD got to 8GB, or should we say two times 4GB for this card. It makes much more sense now, and of course we would not be surprised to see Fiji for notebooks and lower-end desktop products in a single GPU configuration.
Do AMD still make graphics cards then? It's been a while...
i think i'll return it to stock and sell it either straight away or when the 390X comes out......... i may as well do it this afternoon and see if i can get used to it making a noise again.
i always game with the case side off and right now it looks like an Electrical generator in there, i dont think Arctic could've made an uglier looking heatsink if they tried, it's ok underneath, it's the Backplate that looks pants.
