Post your bikes thread

The lights always remind me of when you got a hamster for the first time, and you held it in your hand all innocent like but them your mum said your name, you looked to her, she whispered "hun, your squeezing too tight, the poor fellow can't breathe". You then look back and see those beady little black eyes near enough popping out...

Totally different bikes, you'd need to ride them to see what I'm talking about.

Our 1098R is over 190bhp, the 1198S is 180 (both have full Termi setups). The R is nowhere near as easy to ride as the S, it's an animal but it's a real sense of occasion when you ride it. Not to mention it's a great bike to have in the collection.

The S is so much easier to live with at slow speeds, it doesn't jerk about, the fueling isn't as snatchy low down and you can actually hold a balanced throttle without the engine hunting like on the R.

Very nice collection, but unless you had engine work done, please don't quote "quoted power" or crank power. Please keep it to rear wheel measured at.

Otherwise, all those bmws and hayabusas all have like 200!!..:D

funniest comparison I've seen... but so so true

still want one though :)

the new r1 has a startled / short sighted / beer googles / nerd look... just needs a sticky plaster in middle of projectors to give the ult in geek

awesome bit of kit

Not sure what went on with my phone camera, the red's look pink! Anyways, will do me thinks :D

2 things, first, new termi stickers on their way as one side has fallen off/left the back of the old sticker on and I wanted larger stickers hehe. Secondly, when you see it you will laugh :D

That looks a really nice bike. How do you rate the 748 on the whole?

I have been saving up for a different car, but i think it would be a better idea to add another bike instead. I love the CBR for racking up the miles on a day to day basis, however i fancied something a little more unique. Plus i have always wanted to own a V-Twin at some point.

LOL you are the 3rd person to ask. Im not sure will need to check on Suday.

Why does everyone want to know the size of the front wheel?

Hazarding a guess, but it's people with fond memories of the original Fireblade which had a 16" front wheel which was either awesome or terrifying (or both), depending on who you ask :)

I did check it the other month there but cannot remember. 17 is sticking in my head but everywhere I look its saying 16
