ok guys i posted about this awhile back i think with my VFR750FH and the planned winter strip down and rebuild

this was her before




now during the refit of a new exhaust, new dashboard and a new headlight bulb :p








then with the new mount and new exhaust on






and from the back



so all going well so far, only thing is the rev counter doesn't work at the minute on the new dash, so it needs to be taken off again and sorted, but otherwise really happy.

Oh and DaveCramb I think it is who has the same bike, if you think like me the headlight on this bike is parp, get yourself a osram nightbreaker and stick that in makes a big difference in the headlight :)

Tried the whole range on at the NEC bike show. The top set in the range are damn nice gloves imo. I'd deffo buy a set of the handroid over something like Alpinestars etc. Very comfy and very good protection. Very high spec for the money too :) The lower end of the range weren't as good value due to the lower spec.
 
I was only going to go to the london bike show to try these on :p but didnt get to go in the end :(
Wonder if they are at HG or infinity yet..

Plan on buying a pair of the ones with the exo skeleton - after the Astars didn't stop a break, maybe these will :D

Good point lol.

Did manage to have a nice controlled fish tail this morning, well, controlled more like forced and a little more than I paid for lol. Coming up to a bend in 3rd, kicked it down to first, clutch out and glorious fish tail action :D Good fun, very risky, but oh so much fun lol.

Hi

I replaced the headlight bulb on mines after realizing the standard one was utter rubbish. noticed a difference straight away.

As for your exhaust where did you get the center pipe? I need one to take it from 2 pipes to the one as I don't want 2 cans on the back also looking for a better note.

You need to change that screen if you can. the plain style from the FG looks good without the lip on it

I bought my first pair of bike boots last week. got them yesterday and by god they are tight. wearing them about to try and soften them up a bit.

Reading Agnes's post about fish tail's done similar but was more a lock up from not blipping the throttle on a down change and slid round the corner rather than turning round LOL

Well not exactly ruin, but its my dads old one, needs new carbs and they seem pretty rare on the bay, apart form that just needs a general refresh lol, been under a cover for maybe 6 years?
 
Christ an Africa V Twin last time i saw one of them was trying to stand it back up. mates dad had one. took 3 of us to pick it back up lol
 
Africa twins are bloody marvellous, dirt cheap these days too. A real "more than the sum of it's parts" bike. Quite fancy one myself if I had the space.
