i saw a BMW X (4x4 thing) looked like a new one, it had an "M" badge on it, and when the driver floored it, there was silence, is there such as thing as an electric BMW X5 (or similar) M version ?

If it's anything like the 330e we had when you floor it the engine kicks in so it wouldn't be silent? Quite the opposite actually, the 3 series made a bit of a mockery of hybrid when you floor it.
