Very nice stats, when I first got enabled I too was getting 48mbit attainable rate, so I would day your line is sub 200 meters at that snr, I think you will get 95-99mbit on the 17a profile with a 30+mbit upload.

Have you done the QOS tweak for faster upload?

Yeah I did that. I'm still wondering why I have a bit more latency than others; it's possible the line is still being "monitored" or something. Can't complain tho, I do expect to be maxed up when they upgrade to 80/20 eventually.

I downloaded an experimental torrent last night, more or less on purpose, and It was still pretty fast it seems, so so far, apart from losing my Be fixed IP, all seems well...

Finally got round to unlocking my modem last night. I'm quite pleased with the potential for future speed increases because the line is at least 400m to the cab.

Code:
Status: Showtime
Retrain Reason: 0
Max: Upstream rate = 28005 Kbps, Downstream rate = 80036 Kbps
Path: 0, Upstream rate = 10000 Kbps, Downstream rate = 39998 Kbps

Link Power State: L0
Mode: VDSL2 Annex B
VDSL2 Profile: Profile 17a
TPS-TC: PTM Mode
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
                Down Up
SNR (dB): 17.8 22.2
Attn(dB): 0.0 0.0
Pwr(dBm): 13.1 6.9

I also disabled QOS as suggested in this thread and have noticed a slight increase in upload speed.

Depends where you are in the country, also I get better ping just by getting a different IP, some of the BT centrals are loaded and routed differently and the difference can be 10ms.

also the BT 21cn 10gig link seems to be good for me, I get 12ms pings to bbc etc not to bad for living in the middle of the country,

I thought give this a bump for the flurry of new connections any stats would be appreciated.

I would also like to add at the end of this month the FTTC checker is being updated to show the estimated speeds you will get with the 17A profile (80/20mb product).

Many thanks Locky, I will take some screen shots of the router, have been trying to sort his since it arrived on Thursday lunch time, Draytek haven't got a clue and only emailed them as there so called "HOT LINE" is about as hot as a Eskimo in an Igloo!!

Quick rundown,
I have at the request of Draytek uploaded the original 1.3.1 firmware to test to no avail.

I have the WAN Port set for a Multi-WAN setting with the recommended 101 for BT Infinity

The VDSL Modem is set for AUTO Config, and I have my BT BUSINESS username and password entered in the PPPoE info

But just refuses to connect. Even tried it set to the 17a profile which I know I am on but still won't connect. Just will not sync at all.

I asked if anyone has unlocked the ECI Modem that BT uses as that is the one thats fitted to my Infinity install so they could look at there VDSL info and see what its using so I could try and set the Draytek to the same but there is not a great deal to alter in the setting's menu I think personally its a problem with the codecs there using for there profiles.

Many thanks for the offer of the help any info will be good although the supplier have offered a replacement if I send this unit back and they have supplied a RMA for me to do that.

Cheers Locky

Locky, have re-tested the unit with latest firmware flashed v1.5.1 which i downloaded from the Draytek FTP site hoping it may have been a corrupted firmware but still nothing.

As for posting a screen shot of the VDSL status there's nothing to show as when you look at the stats all items are eiter 0's or blank.

I suspect a fault ont he VDSL modem, so will take supplier up on the RMA for a replacement or refund. I hope that its a replacement as the 2750n fits exactly what I am looking for without going down the larger switches and access points for the gig lan and wirless N. Would prefer the all in one box solution.
