I'd say it's ok although I don't have the exact model, I get similar results with the WD3200KS 320Gb.

Not benchmarked any games yet, but here is my 6gb ramdrive.
1Gb isnt enough to even run a swap file, how useful is this? U would need at least 2Gb for the swap file.XysteR said:Oh my check out my lil ramdrive I'm gonna stuff my computer to the brim with ram

U dont need 6Gb for swap file. The rule of thumb that the swap file should be 3x the RAM size is outdated. Even if ** swap file overflows windows will automatically make an additional swap file; at which point u should have a message about it. Also with hidden files enabled u would be able to see if you have any additional swap files.XysteR said:I'd need 6 GB for the swapfile. I'll have that soon The 1GB ramdrive was just a test.

Unless you are running some special graphics program which Ive never heard of and it requires more than 4Gb/8Gb (whatever your talking about), then you wont need a lot of virtual ram; simply because of the fact you have so much ram and its really not at capacity.XysteR said:With the amount of total ram i will be using soon i will be needing a 6 GB ramdrive for the pagefile. I want to make sure its plenty big enough for what i want. Again, the 1 GB was only to test the ramdrive
