speaker setup is undesireable not because of vibration but relationship of tweeter to where your lugs are when listening if you want to hear any accurate instrument placement

Finally finished my setup/room

TV is a JVC PD-42B50 plasma
AV Amp Pioneer VSX D-912
DVD Sony DVP-NS930V
Speakers Acoustic energy evos. 5.1

ps. can you let me know if the images dont show been messing around with my pc and Im hoping I didnt break ISS :rolleyes:

It was a mail order company called cotswold. Unfortunatley that was pretty much the only nice thing they stocked.

when im on my comp im laid back in my chair, trust me, from here the speakers sound far better to when they were on the desk, or mounted on big books!

Thats probably because they are now on stands, put them on the floor with the stands and they will probably sound better still

This is my current setup, in my bedroom. Not bad for a 16yr old, payed for it myself too!

Sony Reciever/Tuner 5.1 500w
Sony CD Deck
Sony Fullsize Turntable (none of those shrunken mini ones)
Sony 6.1 Satelite Speakers and Sub(6x120)+120
(got a good deal, same price as 5.1 and better looking)
Xbox For Dvds and Games
Philips 21inch TV(bog standard crt, looking at
a projector for when/if i get my new PC setup)

Just might be a little inspiration to some when its shown as Ive mostly designed and built the desk and units...
Its also designed to allow a quick but simple changable configuration. The room incoroporates various console Lan gear with a dual display PC, the typical AV stuff and a projector all set in 7.1 config via mission speakers.

I do wish more people here would post pictures of their AV - Hifi systems, reading peoples equipment is alright but images are more interesting than lines of text, aint they though...
